Last week we travelled to the charming town of Clunes in the Byron hinterland to relaunch our wedding planner and notebook in three brand new colours (check it out and tell us your fave). And what a day it was! Surrounded by a bunch of absolute legends, we celebrated the latest release of our Little Book of Let’s Get Shit Done with the help of a rockstar team, who we were/are beyond inspired by!

One of the NSW North Coast’s newest wedding venues, The Grange Clunes played host to us for the lunchtime soiree and all we can say is wow! The family home of Renee and Jared Dixon, The Grange is a 10-acre-plus space, where you have the power to customise your event any way you please. It was scorching hot on the day of the launch, so we moved the party to the shade of the wrap-around-deck rather than the sprawling lawn as we had first planned, and it went off without a hitch. The flexibility and versatility of this venue is a big tick, but it’s the lush rolling vista and lovingly restored 130-year-old homestead that are the real showstoppers.

Due to the blank canvas aspect of the venue (as well as the fact we pretty much hosted a small wedding), we called in one of the best in the biz to plan, co-ordinate and style the day (seriously guys, if you’re on the fence about hiring a event planner/stylist, trust us, they’re worth their weight in gold). The lovely Steph from Blossom Gatherings is an absolute powerhouse and assembled the most talented bunch of vendors to create the magic – elite hire company The Wedding Shed delivered all the furniture, glassware, crockery and linen, Paper Paper Co nailed the stationery and signage, the incredible Hannah Darling serenaded guests, local baker Hello Little Crumb made the EPIC cakes, including a French earl grey and brown butter poached pear tea cake with lime glaze (drool!), and the stunning floral styling was courtesy of Emily of FLWR, who sourced all the beautiful blooms locally.

Then there was the food… Woah! Everyone was blown away with the Peruvian share-style feast thoughtfully prepared by local caterers A Chef’s Pocket. Think braised lamb shoulder, with pisco and sultanas and hibachi-grilled kingfish steaks with dry chimchurri… Literal *chef’s kiss*. When it came to the drinks list, Cape Byron Bay Distillery provided a Brookie’s Gin cocktail for guests on arrival, while Clunes-based small-batch wine company Jilly Wines (run and founded by The Grange owner and winemaker Jared) flowed freely.

Of course, guests didn’t leave empty-handed. Inside their goodie bags they found their very own copy of our linen-bound wedding planner and notebook (which comes in Lilac, Midnight or Oatmeal), as well as the recently released 2023 Wedding Planning Guide, which is packed with info and ideas to jot down in your new notebook. They also received a delish twin pack from Byron Bay chocolate company Loco Love. a Go-To Transformazing Mask for some post-event pampering, a Mukti Organics Rose Blossom Hydrating Mist, which was not only a beautiful product for the day, but is also a great inclusion for your wedding day kit, as is the newly released Vahy Travel Spray – a 10ml fragrance that you can easy slip into your clutch, and makes the perfect gift for bridal parties. Lastly, a product from another local Byron-based brand Imbibe Living. The best-selling Collagen Lips works as a treatment, mask and balm in one, and is fab for pre-wedding prep.

A big shout-out also has to go to Emma Tkalcevic, who caught all the good-vibe energy and gorg details on camera so we could share them with y’all, and relive the fun function a few more times over.

We’re still on a high and are so grateful to all who came along to celebrate the relaunch of our wedding planner and notebook, as well as all those who helped pull it off. You can shop yours now over at our online store – be warned, the last drop sold out fast…
