Hey there – I’m Aleks, an energetic and party-loving Melbourne based wedding celebrant, DJ and MC.
I’m knee deep in weddings and wouldn’t change it for anything!
I’ve played tunes and performed MC services at weddings for over six years. My partner and I started our successful wedding DJ business One More Song with the tagline “No More Nutbush” and we also have a fun wedding planning podcast, Project Engaged.
In 2023, I added celebranting (yes, I’m deciding that’s a word) to my repertoire! I’ve got close to 20 years (yikes) of professional writing experience from my previous life as a corporate marketing and communications manager. Story-telling has always been both a strength and passion of mine.
Now I’m a celebrant, I get to tell your story, have you legally married, get the party started and keep going right through to the final song. Pretty cool, huh?
I love getting to know my clients and working closely with them to tailor their day. Expect lots of communicating through Insta DMs and maybe a few vinos while we plan your ceremony!
