Hi! We are Nina and Alice Gage, a mother-daughter team from Moss Vale NSW, Gundungurra land. We are passionate about our beautiful, high-quality, ethically made dresses that your flower girl can love, live in and pass on.
With an abundance of intricate smocking, embroidery, puff sleeves, lace trims and petticoats, our exquisite, 100% cotton hand-smocked dresses celebrate the nostalgia of classic children’s fashion. Handmade by female dressmakers working from their own homes in Colombo, Sri Lanka, our styles come in small runs and limited sizes, so you know when your little person wears her special dress, it’s unique just for her.
Dot & Mila is a 100% women-run business. As well as us being a mother-daughter team, among our dressmakers there are three other sets of mothers and daughters. We are inspired by the talent, strength and spirit of women and girls, and seek to support them wherever possible.
We believe even our young wearers are empowered by Dot & Mila dresses. We hope that when your flower girl puts on her dress, she feels confident and special. We all know the transformative power of a fabulous frock!
Our range includes our divine ‘Celebration Dresses’, which come in plain white as well as a selection of other colours. But the high quality of our dresses make all of them a perfect choice for a wedding.
