I would describe my style as, editorial and candid with a modern fashion twist.
Having a 10+ years working in Australian magazines as a creative director, my photography style has a very editorial influence . I love dramatic portraits, romantic candids and fun flash photography for after dark. I believe a wedding is more than just the photos, it’s the experience on the day and making sure you feel comfortable. I always allow the day to unfold naturally, recording all the little details along the way.
On the day, couples tell me that I’ve helped keep them calm, and really allowed them to relax and enjoy the day. I love my couples enjoying time with their guests and not feeling like they are being pulled away for hours of photos. My clients tell me that when they get their photos back they didn’t even see me taking the majority of their images, which I love! I am here to make couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, so they can enjoy the portrait session and don’t feel forced or awkward
Before the wedding, I love to get to know my couples and run though locations to shoot, timings for the day and any other questions they might have. Catching up before the wedding allows me to understand your vision of the day and exactly what’s important to you. I absolutely love what I do and would love to chat through your big day.
