The Acres has a history that stretches back to 1857 where Edward Hayes’ family established 213 acres of sheep farming land along McIvor Creek.
Today – the grounds, iconic homestead and cottage have been lovingly restored for accommodation across two houses that sleeps up to 10 for your special day. We (Jacob and Brad) have always loved the idea of creating a venue that has flexibility to create your own adventure.
Just over an hour from Melbourne – The Acres of Tooborac sits on 6 acres of manicured gardens and a backdrop of the rolling hills of tooborac beyond.
Once you step foot through the gates you won’t need to leave and the opportunities are endless. There are multiple locations on the grounds for ceremonies; including the iconic wedding rock, in front of the barn or in the gardens. Receptions are our favourite with beautiful long tables under the stars, but the woolshed and barn are always the go to!
All packages include two nights accommodation for up 10 people, venue hire and free flowers and styling items (we like to help the environment).
We offer food and beverage packages but don’t worry you can also bring your own catering – we like to think of ourselves like a luxe Air BnB of weddings, we can be as involved or as little as you need.
We cater for country getaway accommodation, elopements and weddings/events up to 150 people.
