You know we like to blog epic bridal brands and their new collections (you’ll find these among our own editorials here), and today we are keeping you in the know about yet another international brand’s latest coming to Aus in a set of exciting trunk shows all around the country. So say hello to the stylish bridal brand from Budapest, Daalarna Couture.
It’s whimsical bridal in the very best way and their new collection, WHISPER, is on its way. The designer was inspired by “the beautiful nature of Iceland, where the calming whispers of the wind, unusual colours, lights and flowers influenced the unique fabrics and designs for this magical collection.” It features texture in spades, offset by sexy sheer fabrics and structure in all the right places. There are also intricate details, from beading to laser cut appliqués, tulle, lace and even colour (we’re talkin’ lime green, royal blue and a multi-coloured, patterned number that you simply have to see to believe).
So where do you get your hands on these beauties, you ask? It’s coming to four of our favourite boutiques throughout the months of March and April and we have the lowdown for you here, as well as pics of the entire collection below.
If you’re a Southern Sydney gal, head into Hope X Page at Caringbah, the first to bring this gorgeous brand to Australian shores, who will have Whisper in store from March 2-10. Boutique owner, Alexandra Thompson says, it’s one of our in-store favourites. They are known for their whimsey by the bucket-load, add to that some ridiculously flattering shapes and you’ll know why season-in season-out, we swoon for this brand.”
Also heading to Queensland, you will find Whisper in Sphere Collective, in the sunny, beachside town of Maroochydore on March 15 – 23. Over in Western Australia (in North Fremantle to be specific), in South Australia at The Bride Lab on March 29th – April 6th and you can make an appointment with the lovely gals at Through The White Door to attend their trunk show on April 12 – 20.
