Here’s the thing about dress shopping: it’s good to have options. Sure, there are people who have known, basically since birth, what they’ll wear on their wedding day, but for some of us, it can take a few tries of a few styles with a few different designers to nail The One.

Enter Love Marie Bridal Boutique, a heavenly bridal sanctuary serving bohemian vibes, dreamy dresses and all the finishing touches, nestled away in beautiful, leafy Camden in Sydney’s southwest. It’s a big vibe, friends, and owner Amy Oram has really made this space something spesh. The gal herself will help guide you through the process of finding your look, and trust us, she’s who you want on your team, with her encyclopedic knowledge of fabrics, fits and cuts, body shapes, styles and more.

Amy’s curated quite the collection of amazing pieces to offer up to brides for their big day (take a squiz at her Insta, it’s a swoon-worthy feed if ever we saw one), and her racks are overflowing with the designs of some very talented humans. We’re talking Georgia Young Couture, KYHA, Alena Leena Bridal, Ines Di Santo and heaps more – plus, modern Project.Bridal has just joined the already stellar line-up.

Let’s take a deep dive into some of our fave labels on Love Marie’s well-dressed shelves…

Ines Di Santo
With more than three decades in the bridal design game, Ines Di Santo knows her way around a gorg gown. Think classic couture techniques reimagined for the modern bride – we’re talking handcrafted embroidery, the finest European fabrics and an approach to wedding finery that is more like wearable art. The Simonetta gown (above) is from the label’s coveted autumn ’22 collection and is currently making its way in-store at Love Marie, so book in an appointment, stat!

KYHA
This Melbourne-based label has the goods, friends. They’ve just dropped their AW22 collection and, heck, it’s giving us all of the shivers in the very best of ways. The brainchild of founder and creative director Kyha Scott, these collections take wedding design to new places, pushing boundaries and redefining everything you thought you knew about bridal. We are totally obsessed with the new Pavel gown (above) – look at all those delicious frills! Better still? Love Marie is hosting a trunk show July 1-3 so you can try on the new collection before store samples permanently arrive around mid-July.

Georgia Young Couture
Sticking with the local love (coz who doesn’t love to support our talented Aussie community), we’re obsessed with the strong lines, geometric shapes and contemporary vibes that are the calling card of this Melbourne designer. We’ve not-so-secretly loved everything Georgia does for a long time and you’ll often find her striking pieces amidst our fashion editorials, folks. Sift through the latest collection in full when you step through Love Marie’s doors (we challenge you not to want to try on every single piece!).

Alena Leena
The Agave gown (above) “is inspired by nature, light and happiness”, and tbh we can totally see how that’s a thing. Look at those sweet embroidered flowers and delicate pearls! She’s playful, she’s fun and she’s got a hint of sexy with that sheer corseted bodice. Headed up by founder and lead designer Alyona Kostyk, this lush label is another standout at Love Marie, who stocks plenty more of these romantic, ethereal, super-femme styles. This is modern-day princess gear.

& For Love
Linen lovers, this one’s for you! The Maldives gown (above) has arrived at Love Marie and she’s a gosh-darn knockout. Usually reserved for resort-wear, linen has been stealthily making its move into bridal and this & For Love piece is proof it’s a strong addition to the game. Plus, omg – that bow! The whole vibe epitomises the label’s ethos, ‘bridal, but make it fashion’, to a tee, and these folks are on a mission to make sure your wedding day outfit is, first and foremost, a killer look that makes you feel fab. Check out their gowns at Love Marie and you won’t be disappointed – promise.
