Home where my thought’s escapin’… Home where my music’s playin’… Home where my love lies waitin’… Silently for me…

Ok, so now Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘Homeward Bound’ is on repeat in your head (soz, not soz), you can scroll on down to see Georgia Young’s glorious new collection of the same title with a soundtrack to the story… You can’t say we aren’t here to please, people! But back to the collection – it’s filled with six new glorious gowns for the modern bride wanting classy with a side of sexy, in a very well-structured, luxury ‘fit for your day of days. From the high-end fabrics (including waffle-pressed satin and Italian Mikado to be precise) to the sharp, figure-flattering silhouettes, the collection is as striking as ever, the perfect option for a statement-making wedding dress, indeed.

We spoke to the designer and owner, Georgia, who describes it as “A collection dreamed up during the beatific moments amongst normality. Homeward Bound carries inspiration from the stillness of early mornings in June, cloud gazing and waking the senses through the warmth of a honey-soaked chai. These fleeting moments offer escapism, reminding me of my yearning to come home again.”

Price points average between $6000-$8000 and you can see each and every gown below, before heading into a number of boutiques to try them on, including Georgia’s studio in Melbourne and a few of our faves, The Bride Lab in South Australia (more info here) and Sphere Bridal Gallery in Sydney as well as the Sunshine Coast.
