Hello dear readers! Boy, are you in for one special treat today. If we don’t say so ourselves, we do always try to bring you the best of the best, the creme of the crop if you will… And here we are again, bringing it to you in the figure-flattering form of Karen Willis Holmes. In collaboration with Georgia Ashdown at Chelsea Gardens, the Australian bridal designer has shot this gorgeous new campaign that highlights real women wearing their latest and greatest Elope collection. That said, there is a sneaky little sidestep to Audrey from the Bespoke collection, too (because who could resist shooting this glorious gown at every opportunity?!) So scroll down, because we‘ve got the exclusive and all the info you need, too…

Shot in the picturesque, country town of Moree, the collection was captured by none other than photographer, Abbie Mellé, with styling by Georgia Ashdown at Chelsea Gardens, consult from Aboriginal Art Gallery, Yaama Ganu and beautiful blooms by local vendor, Phoebe of Phoebe’s Flowers, Food & Home. “We were so excited to partner with Chelsea Gardens on this extra special shoot and showcase our beautiful landscape with Indigenous Australian girls wearing our gowns and feel honoured that the community in Moree welcomed this with open arms,” says Karen.

The collection is a timely mix of more casual alternatives to Karen Willis Holmes’ dressier classics, perfect for a smaller wedding, elopement or a cooler take on a more traditional wedding. COVID-19 brides, we’re talkin’ to you! Available in sizes 4-16, and priced from $590 to $5290, it is accessible, while still looking and feeling luxe. Ensuring every bride’s gown is perfect for her, all pieces are made to order in Sydney. Hats off to this amazing brand for designing and producing local!

Expect flirty feathers, chic suits (shorts and pants, people), a sexy, thigh-skimming silk number and even a jumpsuit, with cute cut-outs. Basically, there’s something for everyone. But don’t just take our word for it… We spoke to the designer, of course, who eloquently explains, “The reason why I make wedding gowns is simply because I am passionate about dressing women and making them feel like the most fabulous version of themselves. It is so important for our brand that all women are represented and celebrated and we wouldn’t be here today without our diverse brides and brand message. We are here to make a positive change in the industry and we make sure the first step to achieving this is using beautiful women from all over the globe to represent Karen Willis Holmes.”

Falling in love with Karen’s Aussie made masterpieces? You’ll find a bunch of real brides wearing the designer’s gowns here and more of the Elope collection here. Oh and if you want to make an appointment, head into the boutiques in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and in ACT, the beautiful Mrs Fray. Now enough from us – get involved in the below…
