By golly are we stoked to be bringing you, our dear readers, this extra exciting post this morn! Last weekend we teamed up with the lovely ladies of One Fine Day to curate the bridal runway to rule them all and it was a good time indeed.

For anyone living under a bit of a bridal rock, One Fine Day is the bridal fair you NEED on your radar. Handpicking from the best in the biz, the ladies behind One Fine Day curate weekend-long fairs full of inspo and legendary vendors galore. Basically, it’s a lovely day out for you and your fiance, fam or bridal party to chat with tried and tested vendors. The gorge displays need to be seen to be believed, let us tell you!

As for the gowns, well, let Kristie Carrick’s superb captures fill you in. We were sure to include only the best with something for every bride, from the sweet cap sleeved Darcy Dress by Alca Line Bride to the freshly dropped spotty Audrey Gown by bridal legends Karen Willis Holmes. Don’t even get us started on Amy New’s ethereal and long-sleeved Lumina Gown. Oh, and before you ask, the lush statement earrings are all thanks to one of our fave bridal accessories brands Amelie George. Let’s not forget those suits, too. Dapper grooms, get involved with the likes of M.J. Bale and Joe Black, stat!

Before you scroll down we have another bit of good news to share. The exquisite human behind these captures doesn’t just snap runways but is also one of the loveliest wedding photographers around. To book Kristie Carrick for your own big day click here. You can also take a peep at her handiwork here in the form of Liz & Scott’s Sydney wedding. Get in quick! If it’s the hair and makeup inspo that has you smitten then be sure to get in contact with Hair by Rebecca Paris.

If you missed out on the Sydney fair this year and you’d like to peep the runway IRL then be sure to nab tickets to One Fine Day’s Melbourne Fair which will be held on the 30-31st May this year. Pop on over here to secure your ticket. But for now, scroll down…

Karen Willis Holmes
Is it even a bridal runway without Karen Willis Holmes? We think not. These legends are celebrating 20 years in the industry and with looks like these, we know why. We made sure to represent KWH’s four diverse collections on the runway. The spotty number above and the Grace Mini (centre) are just two divine gowns from the brand’s latest drop, Bespoke Lumiere. You can peep the full collection here. The sweet Daisy Gown (above, left) is also part of a 2020 drop from KWH’s bohemian Dreamers collection. We blogged the collection in full here. That sweetheart on the right? The Lexie Gown. A statement beaded gown and all-time fave with us HM gals.

CHOSEN By One Day Bridal
Keen to represent every bride, we were also pretty stoked to include a handful of Chosen by One Day Bridal‘s luxe gowns. We may or may not have been a tad tempted to take home the Muse Gown for general swanning about. The two-piece combo of the Hunter Skirt and Able Top (above, right) is also a big fave. If you’d like to try these gowns on for yourself, we recommend you pop into Love Marie Bridal Boutique where the lovely Amy will ensure you leave feeling your 10/10 bridal best. You can book an appointment here.

Joe Black
Offering up some inspo for the gents, Joe Black kept things suave on the runway. These good folk deliver quality tailoring, styling tips and expert advice and they make bloody good suits to boot. Whether you are throwing an afternoon soiree or a more formal black-tie dinner to celebrate, Joe Black is the name of the game. Seriously, if your fiancee is giving you a bit of grief send them off to these guys and we promise they will send you back one dapper chap. Get in contact here or find your closest store here.

Alca Line Bride
We have already gushed about our deep and passionate love for the Darcy Dress (big pic above) but boy, oh boy, is there more goodness to share from Alca Line Bride. Modern and edgy, this is the brand for brides wanting to make a statement. Offering colour, embellishments and endless divine details, Alca Line wins our heart every time. The latest drop, Jump In The Line, was inspired by the brightest star in the night sky and oh lawd are we picking up those good vibes. The Brooke Dress (above, left) and the Miranda Dress (above, middle) are two gems from the collection which can be viewed in full here. Make haste and book yourself an appointment here.

Oleg Cassini
Lace fiends, this one is for you. Oleg Cassini gowns are timeless and our runway wouldn’t have been complete without them. If you love a bit of bling then you can’t justifiably go past the Plunging Gold Lace Gown (big piccy above) for a dash of decadence. Talk about classy! Howzabout that off the shoulder number too?! If you’d like some Oleg Cassini real bride goodness don’t forget to check out Megan and Dean’s Sydney wedding here.

M.J. Bale
Now, these are two looks we can get behind. Classic James Bond vibes to the left and all-round dapper vibes on the right. You literally can’t go wrong here, folks. Making sure to cater for the menfolk, we were pretty stoked to see one of our fave men’s brands brought to life on the runway. You can find more M.J. Bale real groom goodness here.

Amy New Bridal
Ever hear the term casual confidence? We hope not because we think we may just have coined it. Amy New personifies this and the result is a bit spesh. Low-key luxe, effortless and stylish, these gowns were a crowd fave at One Fine Day. Australian designed and made, Amy New gowns are also sustainable and adhere to a slow-fashion model. Amazing, huh?! Well so is the Avni Gown (above, left) which we can’t seem to get enough of. To get in contact with the lady behind the designs pop on over here.

Gibson
We are pretty sure we heard a collective gasp when this velvet jacket appeared on the runway. Decadent is an understatement and we are well and truly here for it. There is more Peaky Blinders goodness where this came from! Pop on over here to shop Gibson online or make an appointment here. Check out our real groom Kane for some real groom inspo.

White Meadow
Bridal separates are our not so secret obsession and we won’t apologise for it so you best believe we scattered them throughout this runway. After seeing these lush numbers cruise down the aisle we are unofficially dubbing White Meadow as the supreme ruler of bridal separates. It’s no secret that the You Had Me At Hello Two-piece Set (above, middle) is out ultimate fave. So, if you’d like to show a bit of skin, you know where to go!

M.J. Bale
And just for good measure, we thought we would leave you with these two gems. Again, representing class and quality craftsmanship, M.J. Bale stole hearts for a second time as they rounded out the show. Do we even have to start on how much we love that velvet blazer?!
