We’ve been a big fan of local bridal designer Prea James’ gowns since the beginning (she launched her first collection in 2016) and trust us when we say this range is even more beautiful- no mean feat! The brand is all about chic designs, simple, but with intricate detailing made to feel as luxurious as they look.

Harmony 2019, is made up of eight incredible gowns, as well as a hand beaded veil (created with tulle and pearl, no less), which is available to order in six different ways. We loved the Cara gown so much, we used it in our latest fashion editorial in Issue 23 (on sale via our online store) and the Elena is a must-see thanks to the unique fabrics used, embroidered by artisans in India for that special edge.

We chatted to the designer about the launch this week- way to start the year strong, huh! “I love to take fashionable pieces and give them an elegant bridal touch, so that brides will look back on their day with no regrets in years to come,” says Prea. Referencing one of her favourite quotes from Leonardo Da Vinci, she adds, “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” and we couldn’t agree more.

All inclusive, Prea James’ prices range from $3745 to $6050, with a size range starting at AUS 6 through to 18. You can order online via her website, or make an appointment to visit her stunning boutique in the southern Sydney suburb of Wollongong, NSW. Stockists include some of our other favourite bridal boutiques, Through The White Door in WA and The Bridal Atelier in both Sydney and Melbourne.

And we’re not done yet, folks. If you’re looking for a little real wedding inspiration as well, check out more from lensman Matt Godkin, who also doubles an epic wedding photographer. You will find his gorgeous work on our directory here, along with contact details if you like what you see.
