Keen to scroll through a serious lot of bridal gowns on this sunny Friday? Good news, we’ve got 13 for you! We shot our Issue 22 fashion editorial on location at one of our favourite local wedding hotspots, Audley Dance Hall, and not only do you get all those gowns, you get to see the cozy white cottage that brides get ready in on their big day and the picturesque, surrounding bushland you can use for your portrait session. Bonus!

But back to the shoot. We used a range of designers, from the infamous Steven Khalil (we couldn’t help but get our model dancing in his fringed number below) to the incredible and eco-friendly Lost in Paris (you’ll find the Edwardian Gown above) and even pink and blue pieces from more casual, ready-to-wear brands like Sarah J Curtis, Ginger & Smart and Stevie May. Coloured dresses are on trend, guys. Rings from Ruusk and Grew & Co were worn throughout and it was all photographed by the talented Jack Steel, with Makeup by Megan on beauty. We can’t get enough of the ethereal makeup (the key is luminous skin, loads of mascara on your top lashes only and pretty pink blush) and how about that perfectly imperfect hair. Beauty reference anyone?
