We are pretty dang excited to bring you, our lovely readers, this carefully curated list of country wedding venues. We fancy ourselves quite, shall we say, ‘well-informed’ when it comes to weddings and we do it all for you! Whether you fancy a sweet soriee under the trees at Audley Dance Hall or a barnyard feast at Waldara we have got you sorted.

Every country vibe imaginable is represented here from European luxe (hey there, Cadella Park) to minimalist rustic charm (the amazing Summergrove Estate). We have also endeavoured to cover venues across all our stunning states from Stonebarn in Western Australia to gorgeous Gabbinar Homestead in the sunshine state. We even popped a few New Zealand gems in for good measure (Heres looking at you Criffel Station Woolshed and Jonkers Farm). With one for the foodies (Montalto) and one for the notebook enthusiasts (Lake House) we really have covered all bases.

Cadella Park
This venue gives us strong feels. Really strong. European decadence meets working Aussie farm. Cadella Park has it all including an Elm lined drive, revamped century-old hay shed and a giant cypress tree. The lovely folk at Prunella will look after you with fine food, curated wines and luxuriously lush botanicals. 50 minutes from Melbourne.
Location: Macedon, Victoria Byron View Farm
We are pretty sure that 360-degree views of ocean and mountains cannot be beaten. This sweet 100-year-old property is perfect for hosting intimate gatherings or sprawling feasts upon the lawns. Summergrove Estate
Our minds have gone wild imagining the pics we could take on a meander through this delightful estate. 73 acres of vineyards, olive groves, orchards, stone bridges and giant fig trees. Don’t even get us started on the timber accented chapel. Make it yours with food options ranging from simple canapés through to gourmet bbq or barn feasts. There are also lush accommodation options so you can relax before and after your big day.

Montalto
This is one for the foodies. Montalto boasts a 15 Good Food Chef Hat restaurant that focuses exclusively on mouthwatering seasonal and local food. The restaurant also features stunning floor to ceiling windows ensuring prime views across the surrounding countryside with just a hint of ocean on the horizon. Did we mention the wine?! There is lots and it is very very fine indeed.
Location: Mornington Peninsula, Victoria Waldara
An 800-acre working farm, this venue has to be seen to be believed. The gorgeous rustic space truly is a canvas for your special day. All the essentials are there from the stunning scenic photo ops to roaring fireplaces. There are even two onsite accommodation options that can sleep up to 20 guests, ensuring a relaxed experience from start to finish. Location: Blue Mountains, New South Wales Jonkers Farm
If delish scenery is at the top of your agenda then picture all the grammable goodness on offer at Jonkers Farm. From ocean views to rugged hills and sweet wooded glades, its no wonder this venue is also a popular film destination. Being just 30 minutes from Auckland, it is the ideal country wedding venue. Thrill guests with a good old country gathering in the property’s vintage 1940s woolshed.
Location: Auckland, New Zealand Tanglewood Estate
If you fancy a heavy dose of Australiana on your big day then head on over to Tanglewood Estate. Surrounded by picturesque eucalypts, this venue truly boasts the ideal modern country aesthetic. Have your very own Notebook moment on a rowboat afloat the heart-shaped dam, which makes for some seriously stunning pics. The whole 100-acre property is at your disposal including a sweet lil chapel, rustic barn and winery. Photo ops are limitless!

There is no better place to take some dazzling golden hour shots than tramping along the sun-drenched fields of Boxgrove. Modern meets rustic at this purpose built reception venue. These guys are serious about their weddings. The ceremony options ranging from ‘The Deck’ and ‘The Rose Garden’ all the way through to the wet weather option ’The Hayshed’ have got our hearts racing. With 170 acres of green pastures and rolling hills, Boxgrove is your oyster.

This historical gem is nestled snuggly amongst the sweet sage tones of the Aussie bush and makes for the dreamiest of days. With the entire estate at your disposal, there are an abundance of ceremony and reception options to choose from. Picture a tranquil ceremony amongst the woods followed by a light-filled feast in The Conservatory. There are plenty of romantic backdrops to go round from the luxurious Brides Retreat to the Old School House and Stables. The food is delish and the service fine, what more could you want? Pet-friendly? Tick!
Location: Sunshine Coast, Queensland Lake House
The Lake House is a venue that is so dreamy it doesn’t feel real. It is though and you can book it for your very own special day. Six acres of country garden meanders its way down to the lake creating a relaxed yet sophisticated space. Perfect for any size and any vibe the Lake House has reception sites galore from the intimate and moody cellar to the super-luxe Terrace Room.
Location: Daylesford, Victoria Criffel Station Woolshed
If moody New Zealand vibes are what you are after then you might want to take a squiz at Criffel Station Woolshed. They offer a range of services from simple venue hire through to complete event planning services. There are two equally stunning ceremony options so take your pick between the Stone Hut Terrace, which features sweeping views across the Wanaka Basin or the charming historical Criffel Station Woolshed. Location: Wanaka, New Zealand Fondata 1872
Fondata 1872 is located ideally along the gateway to the Yarra Valley. As the name suggests the property is steeped in historical value and the perfect rustic backdrop for a country wedding. The timber, white and exposed brick event spaces are the perfect blank canvas allowing you to be as quirky (or understated) as you like. Overlooking lush green hills, all the essentials are there from delicious seasonal Italian inspired food to local craft beers and wines. Need we say more?

Audley Dancehall
If you fancy a divine historic venue nestled in the middle of the Royal National Park you might just want to hightail your way to this venue stat. We can say from experience that the views are delish and the food even more so. Towering trees, the meandering Hacking river and some additional vintage gems (like the bridge and boatshed) make for some dang great photos. Location: Royal National Park, New South Wales Stonebarn
This 160-acre estate has pretty much won our hearts. Boasting forest and river views there are plenty of ceremony and reception options scattered across the estate and even more photo opportunities. You can even relax post-wedding in the property’s secluded bush bath. As the use of the estate is exclusive there is no curfew and BYO alcohol meaning you can basically party all night. If you aren’t sold already they also have their very own truffle farm…
Location: Pemberton, Western Australia

The Farm
The elegant farmhouse at this stunning venue is literally the country farmhouse of dreams. The sweeping timber verandah has us all in a dither. Located on 100 exquisite rural acres just 30 minutes from the CBD, it doesn’t get much better than this. Produce is sourced from the kitchen gardens and beer and wine made onsite.
