Designing from their private studio in Central Victoria, Ashe and Grace’s work reflects seasonal beauty and all that they do is environmentally-minded (100 per cent foam-free and Australian grown). “As well practising sustainably, a part of our business that we care about deeply is that every bloom alleviates poverty,” the girls share. “A portion of our earnings are donated to our community partners in Bendigo and India. Not only do our flowers look good, they feel good too!” They design with romantic muted shades as well as classic rich hues, and you can easily wile away a few hours on their grid admiring their luxe and unique work. MRS GIBBONS FLOWERS
David and Amber, the Mr and Mrs from Mrs Gibbons masterfully design their floral arrangements from start to finish and always bring the wow factor. Their incred attention to detail combined with their 20 years of experience has made them a firm favourite with couples from our Hello May Real Weddings, such as Sam & Shanley with their gorg Brisbane wedding. If you’re a lover of their work as well, be sure to message them for more info! They are now based in the Illawarra but service the whole east coast of Oz, and we truly can’t recommend these legends highly enough.
The two best friends, Zara and and Tamasin, behind this booming Melbourne-based business share a love for flowers and celebrating, and most importantly, the two together! They pride themselves on being conscious and kind when creating, and from start to finish focus on thoughtful conversation and design. They also say they adopt a ‘salty’ style when designing wedding florals, encapsulating an organic, wild and bold feel. In short, they make absolute magic with petals and we can’t get enough of their stuff! We especially love the flowers at Nat & Jackson’s wedding and Nic & Odi’s. If you love what you see, hit ’em up here.

When we spotted the handiwork of Melbourne florist Kayla of X Flos fame in Katie & Zac’s wedding, it was love at first sight. Perhaps the bride and groom describes the epic blooms best: “X Flos flowers are electrifyingly colourful and the composition of their arrangements were of a sculptural nature that I hadn’t seen anywhere else. They came to our venue and filled it with beautiful energy and vibrant beautiful flowers.” What more could you want!? Belle’s Gold Coast-based business was born in peak pandemic, when her brother was getting married and didn’t have a florist… “I decided to give it a whirl and I simply fell in love with the craft, and knew designing wedding florals was what I wanted to do. Formal flower school training, a whole lot of passion and a bit of refining in style, and here we are!” she says. And thank goodness for that, because we just adore’s Belle unstructured and ‘just-picked from the garden’ style. Check out more of her gorg handiwork in this lush styled shoot and if you love what you see (like us!) you can get in touch here.

Herself and Head Creative Asha are sensitive to curating designs that reflect each individual client, ensuring that their arrangements are always unique like at Em & Trav’s Yarra Valley wedding. While they renowned for their fun and brave use of colour and texture, they also quieten down the mood with romantic pastels and neutrals with equal reverence when the brief calls for it. Ross from Bloom Boy is somewhat of an icon among the Hello May Team. We are low-key obsessed with his usage of vivacious, super cool brights. With a background in fashion design, Ross knows exactly how to infuse style into his concepts while keeping them playful and energetic, just as he expertly executed at Zeena and Rich’s wedding (pictured above).
