Laidback ’70s vibes was the inspo for Amanda and Jared’s intimate affair. We think they nailed the brief! After making it official in Amanda’s parents’ beautiful backyard in front of 30 of their closest friends and family, the loved-up pair rode off into the sunset (quite literally) for their afterparty at a nearby brewery. “We just wanted a small and relaxed day with our closest friends and family, while still keeping the retro vibes that we love,” said Amanda.

THE DRESS “My dress was from Zimmerman – I have always wanted to get married in a Zimmerman dress. I walked into the store in my lunch break and found the one in 10 minutes.”
FAVE DEETS “We didn’t have a traditional wedding cake. Instead we opted for a heart-shaped cake which matched our retro high tea perfectly. We also used my great grandmother’s tablecloth and tea cups for the high tea spread which was really special. We also wanted to include a motorbike. It was such a fun detail and reflected our personalities perfectly.”
MEMORABLE MOMENT “My favourite moment was walking down the aisle, seeing Jared and realising everything worked out perfectly and it was going to be the best day of my life.”
MARRIAGE MEANS… “Committing to a life of fun and adventures with my best friend. I knew I was going to marry Jared after our first date so marriage hasn’t changed the nature of our relationship it has just enriched it even more.”
