Blair and Kev met when they were 15 and 16, respectively, working at a cafe at the local football stadium. “Kev was on the fryer cooking hot chips and I was on the cash register,” Blair tells us. “Throughout most of our shifts, Kev would bring me hot chips to eat on the register.” Now if that isn’t love, we don’t know what is.

Fast-forward a few years and these two honeys did the dang thing, grabbing themselves some sweet threads (peep the sleek M.J. Bale suit on Kev!), tying the knot in front of 100+ of their besties and loved ones. “Our overall vibe was rustic and relaxed,” Blair says of the day, which was expertly shot by talented photographer Jessica Mary. “We wanted to have a wedding with minimal formalities and celebrations under the stars with our nearest and dearest.” And nail it they did, folks – just scroll and see!

THE VENUEAs soon as we walked into White Hill Estate we absolutely loved the rustic and relaxed feel. Kev grew up in the country so we were always leaning towards a country, rustic vibe. We loved the idea of having our ceremony by the creek amongst the trees and then moving up the hill to the barn for the reception to enjoy the gorgeous view of the property.”

LITTLE LOLAfter walking down the aisle, my dad turned and started walking towards his chair and accidentally tripped over my dress, landing face-first in his seat. It was definitely an ice-breaker and had all the guests in stitches! Soon after this, Kev was daydreaming during our ceremony and didn’t realise it was his turn to say ‘I do’, leaving an extremely long awkward silence. Luckily he came to his senses and said the magic words!”

THE DRESSI always knew I wanted a figure-hugging, off-the-shoulder dress with something a little extra – which is where the tulle sleeves and train came into play! Calèche’s creative, calm and considered approach throughout the process made the experience really enjoyable. I’m so grateful to Calèche for making the experience so special!”

THE SUITMy suit was from M.J. Bale. I had tried on a few other suits but I was really looking for something that fit in with the rustic, garden vibe of the wedding.”

STANDOUT VENDORSOur florist, Sage & Yarrow Studio, went above and beyond for us. Right up until the day before the wedding she was making minor changes and adding extra florals for us. Our photographer, Jessica Mary, was also incredible. Her energetic, fun and relaxed vibe really suited the atmosphere of the day and us as a couple. She also produced the most stunning photos – her talent and attention to detail are second to none!”
