Billy and Brielle are another one of our lovely HM couples who had to postpone their wedding plans in 2021. However, their two-year engagement ended up working out for the better. Only a three months prior to the second wedding date did they decide to hire the wedding planner (Libby from E Squared Design Co.) who brought all of their vivacious styling dreams to life. We love every detail, from the zesty citrus and hot pink touches to the bright cowboy hats. THE VENUE “Most of my [Brielle] extended family live in the Blue Mountains. I have many beautiful memories growing up there as a kid. After we cancelled our first wedding, I looked at some venues while I was visiting the Blue Mountains and fell in love with State Mine Heritage Park. The beautiful arched windows and tall ceilings had my heart! I loved that I could create my own vision and bring beauty to this space.”
THE INSPO “I love pink! I would call my theme ‘A Pop of Sherbet Confetti.’ We had all the yummy colours; lemon tones, lilacs, oranges, peach, deep reds and ALL the pinks you could dream of. The inspiration really just comes from a love of fruit as arrangements and decorations.”
FAVE DEETS “Our ceremony floral design and all the fruitiness (literally) around the place. E Squared Design Co. captured everything that I wanted and I was blown away. I got to showcase my quirkiness and love for textures and different designs. Our neon cowboy hats were also a huge hit and quickly became a souvenir for our guests. It really got the party going!”
THE DRESS “Nardia Panettiere Couture was my dress designer. I knew I wanted to design my own dress and didn’t even bother going to any stores. She was my first pick and I never looked back. She went above and beyond for me to make this masterpiece. She even searched for months to find the unique fabric I wanted. I felt at peace during the whole process and Nardia made me feel so comfortable.”
MEMORABLE MOMENT “My father-in-law and I organised to do a ‘father-daughter dance’ as a surprise for Billy and our guests. Everyone gathered around for this beautiful moment, but then the music stopped due to technical issues. Billy’s dad and I kept dancing in the silence until my sister-in -law started to sing our song. Everyone joined in and continued that moment for us. It is one of my favourite memories.”
