THE VENUE “I fell head over heels in LOVE with the venue, I burst into tears and said ‘this is it!’. Eoin said my reaction meant he couldn’t barter down the cost, haha! We had seen close to 30 venues prior, both in Australia and Thailand.”
FAVOURITE DETAILS “The wedding arbour, the confetti and our table setting- it was all of my dreams come true! We organised the arbour to be moved behind Eoin and I for dinner and it was the perfect frame. The green foliage along our long table was beautiful. The ceremony – what a dream! And our champagne tower – after our first dance we popped two bottles and filled the champagne tower – it was fabulous!”
THE DRESS “I originally thought I wanted a lace dress, high neck and long sleeves. I would have tried on approximately 50 wedding dresses and I loved so many of them. In the end. I decided I wanted to be a classic bride and having fallen in love with the vintage lace cathedral length veil, I went with french crepe gown from Made With Love.”
A WORD OF ADVICE “Our wedding planner, Alexa Champion, was absolutely priceless, she coordinated everything on the day impeccably well. We ran the day exactly how we wanted, speeches split up across the evening, first dance before dinner, it’s your day – you choose your run sheet. Also, take five minutes with your husband to watch everyone you love in the same spot celebrating your day.”
