These lovely humans met eight years ago on a blind date and have been on cloud nine ever since. When they decided it was time to seal the deal, they channelled a day oozing relaxation and calm. In fact, bride Charli’s motto for the day was “bridechiller”, a term we can very much get behind. All these cruisey vibes were achieved with the help of a few talented vendors including stylist and event planning wonder woman Forethought by Samantha. This talented chickadee even designed a whole heap of light fittings to ensure the Charli and Nic’s day was as perfect as they come. The icing on the cake? THE VENUE “When we discovered Mount Ophir, we pretty much knew instantly it was the one! It has so many different elements, with each room of the old winery telling a story of its own. Mount Ophir was the only venue we went to visit and it didn’t take long for us to realise the dreamy rustic building was perfect for our special day! The accommodation was freshly renovated and what can I say, what bride wouldn’t want to be whisked away to a turret on their wedding night?!”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “One of our favourite things on the day was the food. Ebden and Olive are absolutely amazing. Everything they served up was delicious and we had so many comments from guests on the night, and afterwards, which was a really nice feeling.”

REFERENCES “We were so blessed to find the most amazing planner and stylist in Sam from Forethought. She brought an absolute breadth of talented vendors! The photographers, the food and the florals, the list goes on! We also found that Pinterest is the most useful tool to find inspiration. They literally have something for everyone! We had a private Pinterest board with Sam where we would share a range of design ideas and where we established the overall theme for the wedding.”

LITTLE LOL “An hour before our ceremony was due to start we figured out that none of our four types of boob tape would stick and there was no way we could go without it. We spent 45 minutes trying to wrangle five sets of boobs and let’s just say our photographer, Corinna, got more than she bargained for – sorry Corinna!”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Corinna and Dylan, our photographers. These guys are seriously cool cats! They are so fun to be around and made us all feel 100% comfortable! Nic and Dylan bonded over their mutual love of the 70’s porn star Casio watches and Corinna oozes this calm and kind energy that helped ground us ladies in the morning.”
