Charlotte and Luke’s destination wedding had us from the get-go. There’s just something about Taylor Kezia ’s superb captures that puts a big smile on our dial. Then there’s the fact they persuaded 100 of their loved ones to travel to the coastal town of Noosa for their lovefest (not a hard sell, we’re sure!), Charlotte’s stunning custom-made gown, and finally, their definition of marriage…“It means to be the partner that we both deserve, and on days that we need each other the most, we will be there one hundred per cent of the time, without fail or judgement.” So you can see why we like them, right? THE VENUE “After getting engaged in Port Douglas in 2022, we went to Noosa and quickly decided that we wanted to get married there. While we were there, we visited Land & Sea Brewery probably for the fifth time over the years, and would always chat about how cool the venue would be to host a wedding. And because we wanted a fun, casual, cocktail-style wedding Land & Sea ticked all of those boxes.”

FAVE DEETS “The flowers were simply amazing. From concept to execution, Mondo Floral Design really went above and beyond. Because we live in Adelaide, I sadly wasn’t able to take any of my flowers home, so asked if we could donate some to a local retirement village, which Mondo Floral Design did the following day. Also our DJ Tony Velvet Likes To Party not only set the vibe for the event but was one cool dude. The best part, he played vinyl for the first half of our wedding, which we found super unique, and added to the overall feel of the night. Not to mention, his outfit was on-point. Finally, our cake by Zoe Clark Cakes was a masterpiece. It looked picture-perfect; I didn’t want to cut into it.”

THE DRESS “My dress was created by the incredible Greta Kate from Adelaide. I am so glad that I decided to get a custom dress made, as the experience with Greta was truly magical. Her love, passion and attention to detail was admirable. Her focus was to make sure that I was 100 per cent happy and create a dress that was perfect – and it was simply that, perfect.”

WE’RE SO GLAD WE… “Planned a destination wedding. Having 100 of our friends and family travel all the way to Noosa to celebrate, created the most energetic vibe. We also hosted welcome drinks the day before, which was a great way to get everyone together to mingle. This created such a buzz. I would highly recommend this to anyone planning a destination wedding – it ended up being a three-day party, with the recovery included.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Our photographer, Taylor Kezia (aka Tay Tay). She really went above and beyond. Not only was she our photographer, but she also ensured the day ran smoothly, helping us out with small tasks that weren’t in her job description.”
