Engaged on top of a glacier in Norway, this doctor duo have been together for eight lovely years. Their big day was all about elegance with the beaut bride walking down the aisle to Nick Cave’s Into My Arms. Tying the knot in Chloe’s grandmas garden, the sweetness needs to be seen to be believed so you best scroll down to catch a glimpse of James Simmons Photography’s gorge captures…

THE VENUE “Nan and Pop’s garden is my favourite place in the world and we couldn’t think of anywhere more amazing to have our ceremony. Jeremy has also grown very close to Nan. We spend every Sunday night at Nan’s together, for dinner and a sleepover, so it was not just special to me but to Jeremy as well. Regarding Moore and Moore, I love architecture and old buildings so we fell in love with the limestone walls, the open rafters and the feel of the venue. We thought it was a perfect place to follow up a gorgeous garden ceremony.”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “The boys looked gorgeous in their green suits and we loved that it was something different. We thought the green was a bit quirky/ very Jeremy and added a point of difference.”

DIY “Getting Nan’s backyard ready for the wedding! Nan and mum spent a year getting the garden ready. Mum did constant weeding, planting, potting and manicuring and Nan spends almost every day in her garden making sure there is constantly something in flower. I took on the job of growing grass/ brick paving an area that would become the ceremony ‘stage’. Jeremy had done it, but not quite to my liking, so I had to rip it up and start again (sorry Jez).”

LITTLE LOL “The limousine turned up at my home address and rolled out the red carpet only to find we were not there. Luckily when he called us at the ceremony venue we were only 10 minutes from where he was so we weren’t too late getting down to Freo for photos.”

A WORD OF ADVICE “Do something that means you will have time to take in the ceremony like an interlude or musician, you will then be able to sit back and take that moment in.”

WE’RE GLAD WE “I initially questioned having such a large bridal party but it is one of the best decisions I made. Having all of our best friends and siblings with us made the day incredibly fun and it was so special to share with them.”
