Christina and Jeremy’s orange-themed wedding, captured by the talented Brooke Biro Photography, was inspired by their venue – the fab Lilburndale Farm. Previously an old orange orchard and now the rustic wedding venue of our dreams, Lilburndale is just an hour-and-a-half out of Sydney, but has stunning sweeping views, which whisk you a world away from the big smoke. Not only was this couple of nine years’ venue choice suberb, but they also enlisted a rockstar team to make some magic – Jacqua Celebrant took care of the legal and sentimental stuff; M.J. Bale made sure Jeremy looked his best, and Christina rocked blue suede shoes from Forever Soles. There was also a bagpiper (as a nod to Jeremy’s Scottish heritage), a fun second dress and a pumping dancefloor. Check it out below…

THE THEMELilburndale Farm was an old orange orchard, so we ran with the orange theme and had decorative dried oranges in the floral arrangements!”

THE DRESS “The dress was from Made With Love Bridal. I loved the experience as you get to book the whole shop to yourself, so it really made me feel special. All of their dresses are stunning, and the quality and service was amazing. I also loved my blue suede shoes from Forever Soles, which added a pop of colour and were super comfortable!”

THE SUIT “It was from M.J. Bale. Jeremy loves all things blue so a blue suit was a no brainer! Great experience, they were able to hire out the shop for the morning with the groomsmen which was a great exclusive experience.”

STANDOUT VENDOR “Brooke Biro went above and beyond to make the day super spectacular! The time we spent together just us with the photographer/videographer dancing in the sunset – it was nice to have a quiet moment to ourselves!”

FAVE DEETS “We were so lucky with all the vendors we used, they were all amazing. A standout was Felicity from Lilburndale, who went above and beyond and really made sure every tiny detail was perfect, which made the whole process a breeze and the day so magical. We had a bagpiper lead everyone from the ceremony to the reception which was a nod to Jeremy’s Scottish heritage.”

MEMORABLE MOMENT “We both learned salsa for our wedding dance which was great fun! Jeremy stepped on my toes so many times during practise but we finally perfected the dance in the end!”

A WORD OF ADVICEEnjoy the process, don’t get caught up in the tiny details. Make sure you enjoy the day and have a moment to yourselves!”
