This cute couple headed to the middle of the woods in Country Victoria to celebrate their love in an intimate elopement and we’re all about it. From the ceremony set up, to the perfect afternoon picnic, it’s low-key love in the very best way. Thanks to photographer, Karina and cinematographer, Greg, (the talented duo that makes up Once and For All), we are lucky enough to have all the pics. So scroll down and get pinning…

THE VIBE “We are a young couple who love new adventures and the feelings of freedom, so we knew that we wanted our day to be relaxed and emotional. We were inspired by some scenery of European elopements and wanted to do something similar for ourselves here, in Australia. We wanted to have a romantic day where we could see the beauty of nature and have fun together.”

FAVOURITE DETAILSEvery element was special and unique for us. Nick and I have a sweet tooth, so the cake and cupcakes were probably the most exciting part of the day. We liked the look of them and the taste, of course. The flowers by The Hattie and Bairn Tribe were amazing as well. The colours and the selection of greens just blew my mind when I saw them on the day. I was so happy.”

DIY “The only thing that we prepared for our day was a picnic. We wanted to have some relaxing time together at the end of the day. Somewhere in the grass, with a glass of champagne watching the sunset.”

THE DRESS “I knew that I wanted something simple and light, but at the same time unique and romantic. I went to a few wedding dress shops but had no luck. Every dress I tried on was either too big, too heavy or too expensive. That was a bit of a letdown, so I started looking for my elopement dress on the internet. After a few days, I finally found my perfect dress on ASOS! Classic style, perfect length, ideal price. I thought that it would be quite risky to order such an important dress online but the dress arrived exactly how it looked on the website. The quality was excellent and it fitted me perfectly. The delivery took only a few days, too.

REFERENCES “We found the photographer (Karina) and videographer (Greg) of Once and For All online. We loved their style and the fact that they worked together. Makeup and hair stylist (Nat) I found on Instagram and florist and stylist Hattie of The Hattie and Bairn Tribe was recommended by Greg and Karina as well as cake maker, Jing, of JY Cake Design.

MEMORABLE MOMENT “The best moment for me, was when Nick read his vow during our little ceremony. I felt really loved and very special. Best moment of the day. Nick said that his most loved moment was when we were having a picnic because it was warm, chilled and romantic.”

A WORD OF ADVICE “Be creative! Find some unique and unusual places to visit on the day, so it creates great memories. Keep it simple! Don’t overcomplicate your day. Don’t create too many activities so you can just enjoy the day and not stress.”
