Views for days, folks. Elspeth and Ben’s Glenworth Valley nuptials look v. peaceful and we kinda wish we were in attendance. Think delightful vegan morsels, horsies to pat and dancing under the stars. These two even organised happy tears hankies which we expect were utilised well after one look at goddess Elspeth (done up by makeup guru Liv Lundelius). Fox & Kin were on hand to capture it all. FAVOURITE DETAILS “Tenille Evans, the Chef and Director of Vegan Weddings and Events, did a fantastic job of combining her knowledge and skill with our tastes and requests and served an entirely plant-based menu that all of our guests loved and genuinely still continue to rave about! We will be forever grateful for her suggestion of late-night sliders, which went down an absolute treat after some merriment.”
FAVOURITE MOMENT “No one thing stands out but there were many special moments throughout the day that have stuck with us. Getting ready with our bridal parties, the Spice Girls’ ‘Wannabe’ as the final song of the night, seeing each other for the first time on the aisle, saying “I do”, dancing outside whilst our friends sang in lieu of a formal first dance and the late-night sliders that sent our guests home happy, not hungry. Through our venue, we were also able to have a ‘running of the horses’, which was a one of a kind experience which our guests absolutely loved, as did we.”
WE’RE GLAD WE… “Staying with our bridal parties at the venue for the 48 hours before the ceremony was great. It would have been fantastic to have spent even longer with our bridal party together in the lead-up.”
A TOUCH OF TRADITION “Our celebrant suggested our mothers give Ben and I our rings during the ceremony and we’re so glad we did and were able to include them in that special moment.”
STANDOUT VENDORS “Our photographer Nic [Fox & Kin] was skilled at not only capturing the look we had hoped for, but also in giving advice and incorporating our feedback. She went out of her way to meet us for an initial shoot, which really helped us get comfortable with her and the camera. Nic had great tips and suggestions for us that went beyond photography and really helped shape the day as a whole. We’re really grateful for her generosity in sharing her time, skills and wisdom with us. We are also indebted to Tanya from Behind the Scenes Event Hire. Sourcing furniture that suited our needs proved to be challenging but with short notice, Tanya helped us bring to life our vision for the day. No problem was too big for Tanya and her team. She was flexible, responsive and incredibly empathetic during a number of phone calls when we were very stressed and generally frazzled. On the day, Tanya and her husband went out of their way to curate our outdoor area into a truly magical space.”
