Welcome to the epic wedding of Emma and Matt. Not only did their day of days take place at one of the South Coast’s coolest venues The Lodge, but the talented Matt Ashton took the most incredible snaps, while Tim from Above Below Visuals worked the video, and Tillee Music provided those sweet, sweet tunes. THE VENUE “We got really lucky! The Lodge was the first and only venue we looked at and loved it. It ticked all the boxes and we didn’t feel the need to go anywhere else. We are so stoked we got married there!”

THE VIBE “Bright, happy, fun and vibrant. We wanted everyone to feel the love and have as much fun as us.”

FAVE DEETS “The incredible effort put in by all of our vendors! They made the day. Brooke from Paloma, Adele and her team from Ruby Oak Florists, Matt Ashton Photography and Tim from Above Below Visuals on video. Also our lolly table and wedding cake. Em always wanted a carrot cake as a wedding cake and Sprinkles and Cream really delivered. It was a huge hit.”

LITTLE LOL “We decided to change the traditional first dance and have it as our entrance. We entered to Shout by The Isley Brothers and invited every guest onto the dancefloor to join us (imagine the scene from Wedding Crashers). That’s right… a 5:30pm mosh pit!”

MEMORABLE MOMENT “My favourite moment was seeing Matt at the end of the aisle, especially when he got emotional (rare sight). We loved being able to celebrate our day with the people we love the most.”

A WORD OF ADVICE “Enjoy the process of planning your perfect day; everything happens for a reason and it always works out the way it should. GET YOURSELVES A WEDDING COORDINATOR (more specifically, Paloma Events).”
