Frida and Adam tied the knot after being together for two and a bit years and we are oh so glad they did because this day is giving us all the loved up vibes. Greenery galore, heavenly harpists and crisp white roses were on show whilst the bride and groom cemented their love with the help of HM fave Damon Hughes. Taking urban luxe to great places, this wedding day is the definition of aesthetic af. Scroll down for the darling captures by the lovely lady behind Nina Claire Photography….

FAVOURITE DETAILS “We loved everything! It was really just how it all came together and, most of all, it was our celebrant Damon who set the benchmark for the day. The ceremony was so personable and was accompanied by our Harpist/Vocalist Liana who sealed the ceremony with her phenomenal performances. Then at the reception, having Liana there again, plus all the love in the room and the amazing food, speeches and killer tunes by the Dj just made the day sooo much fun and we would love to do it all over again!”

THE DRESS “I went out, all full of beans, thinking shopping for a wedding dress was going to be so much fun! Quickly, I discovered it was going to be quite hard, if not impossible, to find one (I didn’t realise how many different whites there can be!). Then, my sister, who is a fashion designer herself, suggested I go and see Sonia Cappellazzo as she had heard great things about her. I went and saw Sonia and she got my vibe straight away. She liked the inspiration pictures that I had workshopped with my sister and she just got it, which was such a relief and I was excited to see the gown come to life (finally!)”

REFERENCES “Hello May and the directory was my starting point and reference in finding unique vendors that had delivered cool, unique weddings in the past. Then, of course, Instagram is always your best friend in research and my Pinterest board that dates before Adam and I was even together (I’m not the only one right?)”

FAVOURITE MOMENT “We decided to cut the photos short in order to be able to join our guests, who were at the Ugly Duckling in Richmond for in between drinks, to just hang out with our family and friends. Once they went off to Glasshaus, Adam and I were left on our own to have cheers just between the two of us and take it all in which was really beautiful. Another beautiful moment was when Liana, the harpist, performed Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley in memory of my dad and everyone on the dance floor started dancing and singing along to her. It was pretty special and heart-wrenching, even the security guard started crying! It was beautiful!”

WE’RE GLAD WE “I’m glad we invested in the music and the food as they really did take the day to another level. Also, that we invested in the photos that we can cherish forever!”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Food and Desire! Our guests thought our celebrant [Damon Hughes] was one of our friends that they never knew about because he really invested time in getting to know us and the story. Liana and Daniel from Rutherford Entertainment were phenomenal! Ainsley from Glasshaus was amazing to deal with. Finally, Nina, our photographer, was a blessing, she made us feel so relaxed and at ease and managed to get everything captured! Everyone we had was one of a kind and we are so grateful for their efforts as it really showed on the day!”
