Front fringed goddess Galina and her lovely groom Anthony have been together for over nine years but the sweetness doesn’t end there. “Anthony is so genuine and kind, makes the best pizza and always makes me laugh”, reveals the bride. What a package! The duo tied the knot surrounded by romantic gardens, long-stemmed white roses and a whole heap of loving guests (215 to be precise!). Brown Paper Parcel was on hand to capture all the good vibes. Scroll down for some wholesome times…

THE VENUE “A friend of ours told us about it and although we were sure we had, by that point, explored all options out there we had never heard of Mandalay House and Garden. It was the Adelaide Hills’ best kept secret and we made the trek for a visit. It was love at first sight. It was by far, the most beautiful garden we had been to and Deb welcomed us and showed us around the grounds and that was it.”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “We’re music lovers, so the music was our highlight. Driller killed it.”

DIY “I painted the artwork for the invites, but in all, there were countless little details that we chose to tackle ourselves like table numbers, petal cones, styling and sourcing of vintage furniture and other decor.”

FAVOURITE MOMENT “Walking down the aisle was a celebration in a dream-like state. The surprise serenade by the groomsmen choir for me was insane and those speeches absolutely melted our hearts into a puddle.”

A TOUCH OF TRADITION “Pre-dinner Strega and Rakia shots were customary, of course. Bulgarian and Italian music weaved strategically throughout the night paid homage to both our heritage. The Bulgarian “Horo” dancing, in particular, snaking through the dance floor like a never-ending string of confusion for all involved!”

STANDOUT VENDORS “The flowers were my happiest surprise! You can’t really imagine the way that flowers fill your eyes with joy on the day, but Sam from Fabulous Functions just absolutely surpassed our expectations and brought all those ideas to life.”
