Picking her family property as their wedding venue was “the easiest decision ever,” Belle tells us. And we can see why… So. beautiful. After 10 years together, Belle and Jack, who suited up in M.J. Bale, dreamt of tying the knot in the bride’s hometown of Forbes in the central-west region of NSW. And with the help of White Top Venues, surrounded by all their fave people, that’s exactly what they did. Our mate Blaise Bell was there to capture all the best bits, including the pumping d-floor courtesy of the legendary Baker Boys Band.
THE THEME “Simple but elegant, nothing over the top but still lots of attention to detail and beautiful. I wanted neutral tones, no pops of colour and I wanted it to be timeless above all.”
MEMORABLE MOMENT “Our favourite moment was sitting down and listening to the speeches and taking it all in. Everyone spoke so beautifully and it was really special to take the time to say nice things to your family and vice versa, as it’s not every day you give a heartfelt speech to your family members or in-laws.”
THE SUIT “M.J. Bale – black suit, black bow tie, white silk pocket square. First suit we tried on and it was good enough for me, which means it was good enough for him.”
FAVE DEETS “I loved the cake because it was just so cute and we used my parents’ cake topper; I loved the black marquee structure against the contrast of the green and then white flowers inside; I loved the cocktails in the garden (cosmos and margaritas) during the afternoon after the ceremony; and I loved that it was at my home.”
REFERENCES “Firstly, getting married in a small country town limits some options BUT Forbes had absolutely everything we needed and such amazing local vendors. Tip: Always go local first.
