We really like Jasmine and Tim, guys! These cool cats had an intimate wedding at Rebel Rebel Wedding Chapel with just their three kids in attendance followed by burgers and cocktails; they were kitted out in some serious threads, which included a hot pink gown, a custom-made jacket and cowboy boots (big yes!), and when asked what marriage means to them, Tim had this to say, “It’s about compromise – like when I said we aren’t getting a dog… so we compromised and got a dog.” LOL! Their proposal story below is also the best! As is the epic cake they had Perth Cake Collective whip up for the celebration. The fab Kitty Loves Love joined in the lovefest to take some incredible photos and we are stoked to share them below…

THE PROPOSAL “It’s a Friday night tradition to drink wine and listen to records. It was our first kid-free weekend in a couple of months so I booked a nice lunch for us but little did I know, it was potentially going to ruin Tim’s plan to propose (which he had been working on for approximately six months ). After lunch and a few pitstops, I was feeling tipsy so Tim rushed me home to get the show on the road knowing all well it could turn into a 5pm siesta. When we walked in, he told me to put a record on and he would get a glass of wine. I quickly changed into my finest, gold foil Adidas tracksuit pants. Tim then realised he needed to do it now. He had custom made a vinyl record and sleeve that was titled ‘Volume 2: The Engagement’. He handed it to me as I was sitting on the floor going through the record collection. When he got down on one knee and told me to open up the gatefold, in big letters it said, ‘Will You Marry Me?’ And obviously my reply was, ‘Wait what, are you serious? Fuck. Are you sure? I mean, Yes!’.”

THE INSPO “There wasn’t a set theme but Jasmine’s love of leopard print and brights definitely crept into it. We just wanted something a bit edgy and not overdone.”

FAVE DEETS “Perth Cake Collective nailed the leopard print, pink and black brief. We also ordered a second cake for our party with family and friends afterwards and 10/10 would recommend the red velvet and cream cheese too.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Tina Buri Celebrant is so bubbly. You’d be fortunate if Tina married you – she’s a pocket rocket. And we can’t speak highly enough of our photographer Kitty. We adore her. Magic photos and a magic personality! Bringing a camera for the kids to document moments from the day was so clever and to all our surprise, some of those photos actually turned out amazing. Thanks for fixing bows, hiding tags, keeping three babies somewhat under control and sharing dinner with us.”
