Opting for a relaxed vibe oozing fun and elegance, Keisha and Matt’s South Coast wedding really was all that. Our favourite bit? That blush pink baby’s breath arbour. Swoon city. Oh, and also the fact that a whole swathe of HM faves were in attendance. Garnish Creative Catering fed the content masses whilst Jasmine and Will provided the goods in the form of loungewear. The bride even walked the aisle in one of our fave designers, Made With Love Bridal. LITTLE LOL “We knew we wanted Garnish to cater our wedding before we had even booked in our venue. When we finally were choosing between two dates, Jo was booked out for both of them. There was no way (after all the reviews) that we wanted anyone else so we changed our wedding date to a Friday just so that we could have her! Jo couldn’t believe it when we told her. We didn’t regret it for a minute. Jo looked after every detail for us and our guests are still going on about the food and that PORK BELLY!”

THE DRESS “Finding a dress was a real struggle for me. I went to about six different designers and even flew to Melbourne for the day as I thought I had found the dress I wanted. Turns out what you love doesn’t always suit your body. Made With Love Bridal was the first place I had tired and the only one that I wanted to go back to. During my second attempt, I had a clearer idea of what I was after and what suited me. The lace, pearl details on the thin straps and lower back was what drew me to this dress. The soft light crepe fabric meant it was comfortable, easy to walk in and wear for the entire day.”

REFERENCES “Most of our key vendors were found through hours of googling, Instagram and Hello May. I couldn’t believe it when I bought Issue 22. The front cover was a wedding that Alexandra Cohen had photographed and some of our selected vendors were featured throughout so I knew we were on the right path. Other vendors were recommended to us through the venue and we were lucky enough to already know our florist.”

A TOUCH OF TRADITION “We wanted to make sure our friends and family were involved during the ceremony so after we had our big “first kiss” moment our celebrant asked everyone else to turn and kiss or cuddle the person next to them. Everyone was smiling and laughing as they embraced each other (especially the groomsmen) and we were able to take a moment to look around at everyone who meant the world to us and take it all in.”

WE’RE GLAD WE… “Having everyone back the following morning for a recovery brunch was the best! We were able to spend more time with our loved ones and share stories about the wedding day. I spent the whole brunch in my bride PJ set from Jasmine and Will and I couldn’t have cared less.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “We are obsessed with our photos, they are just perfect and we made the best decision choosing Alex. We connected straight away and all met up for a drink in Sydney before the big day. I don’t think anyone is used to being photographed for 8 hours straight so it was super important that we both felt comfortable and happy with the decision.”
