Kitty and Jess recently eloped in Perth and we are here for the bright and bubbly good times. Looking swish in their ASOS bridal attire, these two lovely ladies were lucky enough to have the oh-so-lovely and super-talented Tina Buri Celebrant guide them through the whole business end of getting married along with the legendary Beck Rocchi Photography behind the lens. We’ll let Kitty and Jess fill you in on the rest of this epic day of days…
THE INSPO “Just lots of fun and colour! We weren’t fussed about specifics and just went a bit over the top and got ALLLL the things we loved – we don’t always have the same taste but didn’t care about it looking too cohesive and just hoped all the chaos worked together! We wanted a mixture of bright and pastels in the flowers and lots of different types of flowers – Spring garden vibes but with some bold modern pieces too”.
FAVE DETAILS “We loooooved the flowers!! When Nat [from Fleur Societe] dropped our bouquets at our house we were so so happy. We decided last minute to swing into Rebel Rebel to see the set-up before our mates arrived and were so happy we got to see it ready and empty! Nat did so much more than we expected! We also added some love bomb balloons from Brooklyn’s Balloon Co last minute too it looked so OTT in the best way!”
THE FITS “We ordered our outfits together on ASOS! Super easy. And our mate Kate at Ilka Studio did some alterations for us so they fit perfectly! We spent more time choosing jewellery and accessories than our outfits tbh! I found my shoes in London and the veil was also from the UK! Neither of us had any desire to go to a bridal store – just wasn’t an experience that was important to either of us!”
WE’RE GLAD WE “Kept it small!! We were also glad we got ready together and just kept it us and our mums… It really helped keep us relaxed. One thing we both wished we had done, was to take more time off the week of the wedding. We are both super busy with work and just took the day before off… Really wish we had a minimum of three days to do last-minute errands, get massages and just sit down for more than five mins haha!”
STANDOUT VENDORS “We [had] the best team of gals [like Tina Buri Celebrant] who ALL did so so much to just make our day easy and fun! Beck Rocchi Photography was also such a legend to hang out with – just felt like another one of our mates on the day! Like everyone on the planet, neither of us loves to have our photo taken but Beck made it a bloody breeze!”
