Lauren and Chris had been together for nine years by the time their dreamy Byron View Farm wedding rolled around, so its no wonder that Chris’ Nanna Bertha shed tears the entire day. Nanna Bertha, we feel you. Bride Lauren must have had a fair bit to do with the tear-jerker situation looking a vision in Alca Line Bride and done up by the wonderful Clare of The Future Mrs. See for yourself! THE VIBE “We went for a minimalist ‘wild rustic’ theme with colourful Autumnal florals as the primary styling feature. Everything else was styled around this to match.”

THE VENUE “We wanted to get married somewhere close to the coast but also liked the idea of getting married on a farm property. Ewingsdale ticked both those boxes. We also really liked the idea of getting out of Sydney given we were only having a small wedding and to make a holiday for our guests too. We locked in Byron View Farm as it is absolutely stunning and was perfect for smaller weddings.”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “There are no words to describe how much I loved my hair and make-up. I’ve had my makeup done dozens of times and I’ve never been as happy as what I was with what Clare [The Future Mrs] managed to achieve. She is a true artist and I’d never felt more beautiful.”

THE DRESS “I am obsessed with my dress. Amy Clyne, who owns Alca Line Bride, custom made my gown based on one of her existing designs. I have known Amy for a number of years through mutual school friends and when I heard she started her own label I had to go and check it out. Amy was amazing from start to finish. She made it her number one priority to make sure I was 100% happy with my gown, even when that meant getting me in for extra fittings that a lot of other designers would charge an arm and a leg for.”

FAVOURITE MOMENT “My favourite moment was walking down the aisle. I’m not usually the type of person that loves attention but that day I felt so beautiful and comfortable in my own skin. I had no nerves, just pure excitement.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Emily from Elope was a godsend. She took so much time and care to ensure we were 100% happy with everything. Mikarla from Wilderness Flowers absolutely nailed my brief and colour palette and Clare Moriarty made me feel so beautiful. Her work is out of this world.”
