Maggie and John’s big day was as luxe as they come. There were chandeliers, sublime floral installations and some all-black signage that has us in a dither. THE VENUE “Site 3a The Papermills was the venue of our dreams and a hidden treasure so close to home. It was the first and only venue we checked out. We knew it was the one as soon as we laid eyes on the breathtaking beautiful blue stone. It was a blank canvas and simply enchanting with it’s oozing charm. We were in love with the space and saw its potential so let our imaginations run wild.”
FAVOURITE DETAILS “The chandelier… WOW! We went OTT with florals and candles and the combination was just magical.”
FAVOURITE MOMENTS “The ceremony was a bit of a blur and a real-life dream but we both remember the anticipation and excitement of seeing each other and walking down the aisle. Another favourite memory from the day was when Sofia (Enchanted Wedding Photography) whisked us away while entrees were served for golden hour sunset shots. We were just relaxed and able to stop and appreciate the moment and each other before returning to the formalities and party!”
WE’RE GLAD WE “We were initially hesitant as we weren’t sure how much time you would need to book certain things but we are so glad we committed to a date and just started making decisions and moving on to the next. If we had a longer engagement and more time to plan we wouldn’t have been as decisive and productive. We may have potentially changed our minds and complicated things unnecessarily.”

The photos are natural and candid and really captured the day and us as a couple as we were so comfortable and sometimes even forgot she was there. She was great fun to work with and we are so grateful for the memories that we will forever cherish! Also, Charlie of Charlie & Co Flowers. Charlie was so much more than our florist. He cared, listened and understood, sharing in our vision and helping us to create it. Everyone needs a Charlie when wedding planning!”
