Matt and Brad are a good time, people. “We met online way back when you had to contact the person on the computer rather than on your smartphone,” claim the couple. Of marriage? They add, “We have built a life together already and have two special boys (our dogs, Charlie and Archie) so this was more so of an excuse to have all of our favourite people in one room for a big feast.” Here for it, guys. THE VENUE “At the time of the proposal I was advised by Brad that he had already narrowed down the wedding locations to a hand full of locations that he had seen online. We went to a few different venues before our final choice Twotonmax. The reason for the selection was that the venue was very much our style and vibe. We wanted to have an amazing evening along with our guests feeling as though it was just one big dinner party at our house.”
MEMORABLE MOMENT “When I was given a special surprise from Brad – he had written and sung a song for me in front of everyone. That was a total shock and he told me after that when we had just started dating that I mentioned that it was a very romantic gesture to sing a special song on a wedding day as we had just seen it in a movie.”
COOL CUSTOM “Brad’s father passed away when Brad was just a teenager. Many years ago for a Christmas present, I presented Brad with a glass memory box of some of his Dad’s possessions. Brad’s brother, Alex, carried it down the aisle on the wedding day so that he could be a part of the special day in our way.”
LITTLE LOL “I don’t know if I would say funny, however just as Brad was getting out of the limousine with his Mum, 1 of her shoes broke, so Brad and everyone went into ‘MacGyver’ mode where they proceeded to use a bandage to tape the shoe back together. As his mum then stepped out of the car her other shoe broke. Needless to say, it was a stressful five minutes for Brad and his groomsparty.”
