Four words: Bridal. Party. Dance. Routine. Yep, Mulynda and Jacob choreographed an 11-minute elaborate dance involving their nearest and dearest. (Okay, it was Mulynda, but Jacob was all about it too!) These folks are just a whole heaps of fun, friends, and that is so clearly reflected in their day, which was captured by the phenom photographic team Trent & Jessie.

Their inspiration, they tells us, came from Mulynda’s cousin’s wedding in England that they had attended. “It challenged traditional weddings as we knew them in that it was a party from start to finish. We used that as inspiration to design our day to ensure we, as well as all our guests, had the most fun day ever!” So it’s no surprise they called in one of the most fun-loving celebrants we know, Holy Montrimonty, to do the official bits (and bring the lols).

Last-minute musical savior Sam from Silent Shout was the perfect addition to the day. “He jumped in due to our original DJ getting COVID! We were so worried about finding someone so late notice, but Sam put our minds at ease. Nobody wanted to leave the dancefloor the minute it opened to the minute the bus was tooting out the front!” Scroll the pics to check out just how much fun was had!

THE VENUE “My [Mulynda] family own the Glenworth Valley Weddings Events Centre and we’ve been travelling up from Melbourne every year in the summer school holidays since I was born to enjoy the amazing 3000 acres of lush bushland, amazing surf beaches, horse riding, quad biking, abseiling, kayaking and laser tag on the property. Jacob and my very first trip as a couple was to Glenworth Valley, so it was not only a special place for me but also for Jacob, as he fell in love with it from the first time we visited together.”

FAVE DETAILS “There was a lot of entertainment throughout our day, from our celebrant Monty of Holy Montrimonty (who we felt like we had known for years), to a flower man who danced down the aisle to Vanessa Carlton’s 1000 Miles throwing petals on all our guests, and hilarious bridal party entry dances involving a fair amount of shots and confetti explosions. My parents’ and family’s surprise dance feature in our choreographed dance routine with our wedding party was a definite highlight, too!”

LITTLE LOL “Jacob getting rammed by Hilda the Highland cow during photos. And our celebrant roasting our whole bridal party as a hilarious introduction.”

WE’RE GLAD WE… “Whilst we were off getting bridal photos, we arranged for Kombi Keg to be set up with cocktails on the lawn at the events centre along with our amazing friend and MC Lexi Worthington performing acoustic tunes to help create a relaxed pre-drinking vibe before the reception started.”

STANDOUT VENDORSTrent & Jessie are the best photographers/videographers in the country. They are so thorough with everything they do and they are just such genuinely generous, kind-hearted people. They travelled all the way from Brisbane with enough time to scope out the venue and sweet spots on the property the day before, filmed our dance practice session and brought along their extremely talented videographer Tim (who has just joined their team). They made us feel incredibly comfortable and didn’t miss a thing. They even gave us a dozen printed photos on the day, during a private moment at sunset. Monty (of Holy Montrimonty), our celebrant, is such a laugh and really set the tone for a fun, entertaining and memorable wedding ceremony. He went to so much trouble to help us both with our vows – he really digs deep to get the dirt he needs to make your ceremony so personal and real!”

We know you love these nups as much as we do, and if you’re planning something with a similar vibe, you defs want to hit up the fab vendors involved on our directory – head straight to Trent & Jessie for out-of-this-world pics, Holymatrimonty for celebrancy with heart and a hefty serving of lols, and Silent Shout for top-tier bangers to get the d-floor going.
