THE INSPO “Angelo and I love a relaxed environment, as well as quality food and a good tipple. We wanted to share this with our closest friends and family. We wanted to cut out as many formalities that didn’t resonate with us and just give everyone a good night. Coming from a filipino cultural background this is a little different to what our families were used to, but in the end everyone had an amazing time.
THE DRESS “My Harriette Gordon wedding dress was one of the first dresses I saved as inspo on Instagram. I wanted to keep an open mind but as soon as I went to Hope X Page and tried it on, I knew it was going to be hard to move on from. I love its minimal, sleek silhouette and open back – so chic! The experience was super smooth with Hope X Page, they got my measurements to a tee and when I went to try it on, it fit like a glove.”
THE SUIT “My suit was from Oscar Hunt. I had previously ordered a work suit from them and had a great experience, so it was pretty much a no brainer. The team at Oscar Hunt were always welcoming and always had drinks on offer.”
MEMORABLE MOMENT “As nerve-racking as they were, doing our personal vows during the ceremony was very special. We were initially going to do them privately during our first look, but decided we would share them with our family and friends. We were thankfully able to say them without choking up (too much) and felt the love/support from everyone around us.”
STANDOUT VENDORS “A huge shout out to Ed Summerhays our photographer, and John and Hannah (from ILY2 Films) our videographers – they made us feel so comfortable on the day, especially as we were not used to being on camera.”
