Guys, you’re going to looooove this day shot by the uber-talented Miranda Stokkel. Tanya and Chris, who looked dapper in Oscar Hunt, put together a chic AF wedding at the beautiful old Eurora Butter Factory. With the courtyard reception set-up giving Tuscan vibes, sweet treats made by the bride herself (T. With Cake), one of our fave vendors Off The Hook – Audio Guest Book on hand to catch guests’ hilarious and thoughtful messages, and the prettiest pastel colour palette we ever did see, these nups are a must-see. We’ll let the bride and groom fill you in on all the delish deets…

THE VIBE “Summer, romantic, fun, and relaxed. We tried to steer clear of the traditional all white wedding by incorporating pastel colour tones in peach, blue and pink. We wanted our guests to feel like they were in a Tuscan courtyard with festoon lighting, long tables, and lots of colour, all amongst the historic Butter Factory building, which provided the perfect backdrop.”

THE SUIT “My suit was from Oscar Hunt in the Melbourne CBD. I decided on the colour as soon as I stumbled upon the swatch in my first consultation, a very Dark Green. I thought it was non-traditional (which I liked) but also very elegant and would match the feel of the day well. I absolutely loved the experience and got all the groomsmen’s suits from there too, a flat charcoal colour which complimented the green well which I gifted to them for being part of our special day. The team always made us feel welcome through the three consultations and didn’t mind a bit of banter, we also had plenty of G&Ts which made the experience very memorable.”

FAVE DEETS “We loved the audio guestbook by Off The Hook that my sister organised for us as part of her gift. Listening to all the messages while on our honeymoon was definitively a highlight!”

LITTLE LOL “Our page boy Alexander (who is only two) walked down the aisle with one of my bridesmaids Priscilla. Halfway down the aisle, Priscilla stopped and showed him how to throw the petals out of the basket he was holding. Instead of taking out a few petals at a time, he dumped the whole basket on the grass, and everyone started laughing. It was so cute!”

A WORD OF ADVICE “It helps to divide tasks among each other as this makes you both equally accountable for the day and lessens the load on just one person. Also be organised and get everything sorted well in advance so you can just simply enjoy your big day.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “We had Miranda Stokkel and John Kurt as our wedding photographer and videographer. They were a dream team! Both so lovely and made everyone so comfortable. Such magicians.”
