Meet Zeena and Rich, who started off as friends, began dating, and later got engaged as they watched the sunset in the quaint Victorian town of Yarra Glenn. Ca-ute! THE VENUE “We spent a lot of time getting to know each other in Melbourne, so it was important to us to have that connection there. The Langham rooftop was perfect, and the view over the city is incredible. For the reception, we loved the vibe of Rupert on Rupert it felt elegant but also warm at the same time. The fit-out is gorgeous and suits our own style really well. It just felt very authentic to us.”

THE INSPO “We decided on our colour scheme first and everything else fell into place. We love pink and red together, so Bloom Boy was a perfect fit for our vision. We liked the idea of a low-key cheesy prom feel – from the dresses and suits to the cake and flowers, we’re so happy with how everything turned out.”

FAVE DEETS “The flowers from Bloom Boy were amazing, the bouquets and boutonnieres were so vibrant, and the flower arch was stunning. We were so happy with the seating chart, guest gifts, and place-settings – Zeena made such a fantastic design that ended up looking so cute, cohesive, and professional!”

MEMORABLE MOMENT “Like every Melbourne couple planning an outdoor wedding, we worried about the weather. The forecast was for rain, but how much? The Langham rooftop has no weather protection, and we were pretty stressed the day before the ceremony. On the day, it was pretty cloudy. Moments before the music played and Zeena walked out, the skies cleared, and the sun shone out. It was amazing, and honestly a little cliché. We laughed about it at the time, but it was such a special, beautiful moment.”

A WORD OF ADVICE “Make sure you take time out on the day to just talk to each other and check in away from guests and vendors. Even 5-10 mins check-in is very special. “
