Guys, we think Zoe is one seriously lucky gal. With an unplanned five weeks away for her new job, Zoe had to leave wedding planning to her beau Wil. Luckily, Wil found his calling as a future wedding planner with his bride arriving home to a pretty ace wedding day. With Zoe looking gorge af, it must also be mentioned Will is a v. lucky guy. A handful of our fave vendors (Cushla Whiting, Oscar Hunt Tailors and Baker Boys Band to be exact!) meant this duo were well looked after. Scroll down for Tomek Photography’s sweet as snaps…

THE VENUE “I have a large family so we wanted a venue with a lot of accommodation. We also always knew we wanted to get married outside of the city, so Mount Lofty House was perfect. I spent one day looking at venues with Wil’s mum. Mount Lofty House was the last venue we looked at and when I saw it I just knew it would be perfect.”

FAVOURITE DETAILS “Our twinkle lights in the centrepiece, surrounded by greenery and tall vases with candles, really set the mood when the lights were dimmed. It made the evening feel intimate and incredibly magical.”

THE DRESS “My dress was amazing. I couldn’t have asked to find a better one. I chose the gold Nala Gown from One Day Bridal. It did take a lot of hunting to find the right one, however. ODB really spent the time and care to make sure that my dress was everything I had ever wanted. The overall experience of dress shopping being a curvy gal was extremely difficult. I would really encourage beautiful curvy women to not get put down by the whole experience, and celebrate you – Gold baby Gold!”

LITTLE LOL “I came back to the hotel after my fake tan two nights before the big day and it was raining. Drops got me as I was running from the car to my room, so in the end, I looked like I had a skin condition! My two gal pal cousins came running to my rescue with a make-up brush, Bondi Sands and a bottle of rosé. They saved the day!”

A WORD OF ADVICE “It really does go by so quickly. The best advice I was given was to choose four key songs to tee up with the band and once they came on, it didn’t matter who we were talking to, we had to leave at once and go straight to the dance floor! This made sure that we were never cornered for very long and was great if we had gotten separated.”

STANDOUT VENDORSTomek, what a guy! On behalf of Wil and I, I just want to say what an amazing guy he is. Thanks, Tomek, you are the man! Ellanie our florist [Knot & Ko] was also fantastic and created some beautiful centrepieces for us, as well as amazing arrangements for our ceremony.”
