With 14 months between engagement and their wedding day, Christen and Rob decided a mere 4 months out from their date that they would elope – meaning the pair didn’t have much time to plan!
After having spend close to a year searching for venues in the US, the couple discovered the incredible work from Kama Catch Me, an all in one service in Fiji. “Rob said ‘let’s just elope… Let’s go to Fiji.’ Although I think he was somewhat just throwing a random idea out, I started to do some research and agreed that we just need to bite the bullet and do it.”
Knowing they wanted to say their vows with nature surrounding them, the pair took to the Fijian Highlands, a regular spot for the team at Kama Catch Me, and it’s easy to see why! Christen mentioned one of her favourite moments was when their photographer put on a song whilst the couple enjoyed the views of the sun setting, and had a spontaneous first dance on the hilltops; whilst Rob tells us the exchanging of the rings was a highlight for him.
