Already this year we’ve wrapped up Best of 2022 posts for Cakes, Wedding Parties, Styling Ideas and Grooms Style so today it’s time for one of our faves – the most popular bouquets of 2022 according to your clicks, likes and comments here on the blog (as well as over on our Pinterest and Insta feeds) throughout the year.

Big, bright, bold, and beautiful was definitely the order of the day with so many couples opting for statement blooms. But traditional, more sculptural arrangements as well as all-white everything also had its place in 2022.

If you’re planning a wedding in 2022 and you’re currently trying to decide on what to do for flowers and who to  hire, once you’ve taken in this post, be sure to check out our Top 30 Florists to Follow on Instagram post as well as our round up of all of our fave floral styling geniuses from Australia and NZ wide right here on the directory.

POMP & SPLENDOUR, VIC
We loved Sheradyn and Brendan’s ultra cool Melbourne wedding so damn much we put it on the cover of Issue 34. Photographed by Elsa Campbell it features the floral stylings of none other than Pomp & Splendour. We love the wildness of the ‘I just picked these fresh from my garden’ vibes this bouquet oozes. Planning a Victorian wedding and want to hire the Pomp & Splendour gals to create floral magic for your own day of good times? Simply enquire here.

GWEN FLORAL CO, QLD
Even though we’re not planning a wedding ourselves, we often cruise the Hello May directory for inspiration (we love pinning the amazing work all of our vendors do to the HM Pinterest board, which just so happens to have 10 million visitors per year, mind you). On such a pinning missing we stumbled across this gorgeous all white bouquet by Brisbane florist Gwen Floral Co (with photos by SB Creative Co) and went a little weak at the knees. SCAPE BY S, TAS
Tasmania couples in need of a floral stylist need look no further than Sarah from Scape By S. We spied this gorgeous bouquet over on her Insta and INSTAntly (see what we did there) fell in love with her wild approach to floral design.  Photographed by Westerly by Ella Kirby, we’re smitten kittens with the colours in this particular bouquet, it somehow manages to be bright and bold and muted and delicate all at the same time. Planning a wedding in Tassie or it’s surrounds? Enquire here with Scape By S.

GLORIOSA FLORALS, QLD
Sure, wearing red and pink together has long been considered a major fashion faux pas, but to hell with old wives tales we say, especially when pink and red (and purple for that matter) look so damn good together in this bouquet created by Brisbane based florist Gloriosa Florals and snapped by Florido Weddings. If you’re getting married in the big bad city (or anywhere in Queensland really) enquire with them here.

XAVIER NICOLLE, QLD
We featured Yen and Tim’s loved up Gold Coast Wedding on the blog just last month and it quickly racked up a bunch of clicks, likes and comments across all of our platforms. And what is not to love with a gown by Karen Willis Holmes Bridal, photos by Byron Bay fave Shane Shepherd and flowers, of course, by the talented Xavier Nicolle.
