December is our fave month of the year here in the Hello May office because we love these round up posts so damn much. Taking a moment to reflect on the beautiful weddings we’ve had the honour of featuring in 2022 is always fun, and we love diving deep into the stats of what YOU were loving on the most.

So far we’ve rounded up the Best Cakes and Best Wedding Parties of 2022 so today we’re focusing on styling ideas. We’ve seen some amazing wedding these past 12 months from quiet elopements to huge parties of 100 of your nearest and dearest, and out of it all, this are the styling ideas that received the most clicks, likes and comments from you all this year.

If you’re currently planning a wedding in 2023 or 2024 you simply must check out our annual Top 20 Wedding Stylists to Follow on Instagram round up as well as our list of our fave wedding planners and stylists from Australia wide. But first, get scrolling, pinning and reading below for the best of 2022…

SARAH & MARK, WA
We’re huge dog people here in the Hello May office (almost everyone on our team has a pooch) so of course our personal fave detail from this day was Sarah and Mark’s two Golden Retrievers who featured heavily through out the day. But you guys were loving on the creative genius of Butcher Baker Stylist Creator along with the gorgeous snaps of Parisian born, West Oz based lens lady Alexandra Cohen. For more of this beautiful day click here. Wanna book Alex to shoot your own day? Click here instead.

MADDIE & RYAN, NSW
OMG! Stylist Ashdown & Bee & florist Clementine Posy knocked it out of the park for Maddie and Ryan’s Hunter Valley wedding. Photographed by our pal Ben Sowry, we’re just smitten kittens with the purple and pink wonderland created by these talented women, and clearly you guys were too! Click here to check out the rest of the day (including the brides gorgeous gowns)

CAROLINE & JARED, NSW
Originally featured in Issue 33 of Hello May, when this wedding was blogged  in April 2022 you guys went nuts for stylist Pia & Jade’s use of citrus throughout the table styling, not to mention this gorgeous arbour and pics captured by Sydney lens man Blaise Bell. Get inspired for your own day of good times by checking out the whole wedding here.

ALISHIA & MATT, TAS
The minute we blogged Alishia and Matt’s Tassie wedding with the gorgeous stylings of Enamour Events (formally Boho Luxe & Co)  we quickly saw this wedding rise up the charts as one of our most viewed weddings. We particularly love the use of amber glass and foraged ferns throughout the day. And with delish photos by Bonnie Jenkins, what is not to love. Wanna hire Enamour Events to create some Tassie magic just for you? Simply click here.

BRITTANY & DYLAN, TAS
Seems like everyone wants to run away to Tasmania and tie the knot as Brit and Dylan’s wedding was another popular one throughout the year, no doubt due to the gorgeous table styling (hello gorge ceramics and raw silks) by way of Tassie fave Dear Leone (formally Honey Fig) And because they wanted the best of the best Brit and Dyl were of course more than happy to fly Sydney photographer Hayley Rafton across the ditch to capture every moment of their magical day. Wanna hire Dear Leone? Of course you do! Simply enquire with them here.

STEPH & WILL, QLD
This stunning Noosa wedding originally appeared in the pages of Issue 34 and the minute we blogged it back in September you guys starting pinning these place settings like crazy. Photographed by Janneke Storm, if you wanna see the rest of their gorge day and scope out Steph’s stunning two piece Grace Loves Lace gown whilst you’re at it, simply click here. We love this Aussie owned and made bridal designer – so if sustainability is important to you check out their full range here.

LUCY & ADAM, SA
Another day another epic wedding styled by Found Collective. Gosh we love this talented Adelaide based stylist and everything she does. She always creates the most textural, romantic table scapes that contribute so beautifully to the magic of the evening. Photographed by Lilac In Hand (with a stunning Rue de Seine from The Bride Lab) you can scope out more of this day here. Wanna see if Found Collective are available for your own South Oz wedding? Drop them a line right here, friends.

MADDY & MIKE, VIC
Gotta love any day captured by Melbourne photographer Finder Seeker Photography but especially one that features the stylings (and super fun neon signs) of Good Day Club. Toying with the idea of wearing a black dress? Let Maddy & Mike’s day give you all the permission you need to go rogue on white. LAURA & ANTHONY, NSW
We first blogged their elopement in August 2020 (which you can check out here) and then followed it up with their wedding in October of this year. Of course they loved their amazing photographer Samantha Heather so much they booked her to photograph both days (which she did beautifully, as always) and Upside Down Events blew hearts and minds away with their gorgeous styling details. We just love the romantic candlelight ceremony set up they created. Getting married in Sydney and want them to create some magic? Drop them a line right here.

ERIN & ROBIN, TAS
Artaud & Co have had quite the year (check out this amazing wedding they styled recently for Kaddy and David) but its the wedding of Erin and Robin that seems to have stolen your guys hearts. Maybe it was the earthy tones, or the genius (and oh so economical) broken terracotta place settings? Either way we’re loving on everything they created for Erin and Robin’s Tassie shindig. Photographed by Janneke Storm, you can check out the whole day (and loads more styling details) here.
