Earlier this year, some talented folk from New Zealand gathered for Magonlia Rouge’s Forage and Fern Workshop where this breathtaking shoot styled by Kylie Swanson and photographed by Dawn Thomson was brought to life.
Inspired by the medieval romance of Tristan and Isolde, a tragic tale of forbidden and undying love (more commonly known as Romeo and Juliet), this editorial shoot took place in beautiful and picturesque Queenstown.
Featuring gorgeous threads from Shop Gossamer and Girl With a Serious Dream, vendors including Leaf and Honey, Written Word Calligraphy, Amber Brinsdon and Amy Cu came together to contribute their time and talents.
The amazing and inspiring week-long workshop attracted heaps of international attendees from as far as Russia, allowing them to create, discover and connect. It appears that forbidden love is truly worth the endeavour.
