The sweetest couple to match the sweetest DIY styling set-up on a private property in Barwon Heads – a coastal town in Victoria’s Bellarine Pensinsula. Adriana and Luke incorporated their Serbian culture throughout the day, including dancing the kolo, mixed with a modern twist – the bride wore white Crocs so she could spend all night on the d-floor, which was pumping as Heartbreak Hotel was in charge! THE VENUE “We looked at every venue in Victoria and then Luke’s dad had the idea of using a family friend’s private property. We went and had a look and fell in love.”
FAVE DEETS “I loved the festoon lighting and colourful lights in the trees – it created a festival atmosphere which we love.”
MEMORABLE MOMENTS “Getting ready in the morning was so relaxing and fun. We polished off seven bottles of rose between the five of us girls! Also getting the sunset photos with just me and Luke when we were a bit tipsy. It was full of love and fun.”
A TOUCH OF TRADITON “We included Serbian family traditions, such as dancing kolo and drinking rakija [a traditional brandy-style alcohol] from a cutara.”
