Alice and Aaron had their first dance to La Vie En Rose, just as Alice’s grandmother and grandfather did before her. Ultra sweet, right?! Well, it doesn’t stop there. These two lovebirds have been together for eight years but have known each other for 15. Opting for a jumpsuit with her divine locks hanging loose (hey hey Kate Lily Dressing Hair), you are going to want to see more of this bride. Scroll down for some sweet snaps by Across The Forest

FAVOURITE DETAILS “We were absolutely blown away by our florist Lauren of Laurel and Lace. Everything she did including buttonholes, bouquets and centrepieces were beyond anything we could have hoped for. My favourite piece was the ceremony “nest” Lauren created. It meant we could have some beautiful florals surrounding us for the ceremony without taking away from the view from the Margaret Whitlam Pavilion over Canberra. The nest doubled as the arrangement for the bridal table thanks to some nifty work by Lauren, so we got to enjoy it for the whole day!”

THE JUMPSUIT “I never pictured myself wearing a gown to be married, it’s not really my style. I found some amazing inspiration for pants and jumpsuits on Pinterest, but those can be tricky to source for purchase. One that stuck out to me was the Rime Arodaky Patsy Jumpsuit. I pinned it and assumed I would never be able to find it. I couldn’t believe it when I managed to find the last one in stock and in my size!”

FAVOURITE MOMENT “It’s hard to choose just one as we were blessed with such a beautiful wedding day. A stand out memory was the surprise performance from Missy Higgins and Jane Tyrell arranged very quietly by my sister, Breeze. I am known for being a meticulous planner with my eye on every detail, so I was absolutely shocked she was able to pull this off! The performance was beautiful and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.”

WE’RE GLAD WE “We were really glad that we went ahead with the pre-wedding photoshoot suggested to us by our photographers. Both of us are uncomfortable in front of the camera, so the pre-shoot helped us get used to it and create a rapport with our photographers. We got all our jitters out of the way so we could get the best shots on our day when they mattered most!”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Our photographers Anton and Raya from Across the Forest were an absolute stand out for us. Right from the very start they were kind and helpful, they went above and beyond every step of the way. The photos themselves turned out beautifully and we have had so many compliments on them. Somehow, they found time on our wedding night to print out some photos and hand them to us at the reception which was so special! They also followed up with a personalised box filled with prints and a USB which was unexpected and so lovely.”
