THE VIBE “Fun for all! Yet relaxed.”
THE DRESS “My skirt and top was from Grace Loves Lace in North Fremantle. My friends suggested we go and try on some wedding dresses to help get me into the ‘wedding mindset’ as I was feeling a little lost at where to start. I had looked online at the Grace Loves Lace dresses and thought they were very much my style and within my price range. The dresses I had picked to try on were not the dresses I ended up with. After trying on a few dresses with no success, one of my bridesmaids suggested trying on the skirt and top. Turns out it was a winner! Grace Loves Lace is a beautiful shop to try on dresses and the service was great.”
THE SUIT “Jamie found his M.J. Bale suit in the second shop, which was handy! The hardest part was trying to get all the groomsmen together to try on suits, but M.J. Bale’s great with this as they keep all the information under an account so the groomsmen can just go in and try on what we picked out. One of Jamie’s groomsmen got Covid two days before the wedding so Jamie asked another friend to step in. M.J Bale was amazing with helping facilitate this last minute.”
A WORD OF ADVICE “Get a wedding planner! It’s the best investment we could have made. Both working full-time and having other commitments does not leave much time for wedding planning.”
STANDOUT VENDORS “Our photographer and videographers Eve and Jo from Ring and Veil. Eve and Jo were there for everything – getting ready, wedding, reception, getting ready again and down south party. Jamie and I both dislike having our photo taken but somehow, they made us feel comfortable enough to stay still for a few piccies. They captured everything fun about the day which was super important to us. Our friends and wedding guests still talk about how amazing and fun they were. They even did a tequila shot with us!”
