As a PR consultant for Western Australia’s largest firm, Bianca may have had a bit of an upper hand while planning her big day. “We were brainstorming venues for a client’s event, one of my colleagues mentioned this new, hip’ venue called The Flour Factory. Once i saw pictures of the 100 year old flour mill with its whitewashed walls, high timber ceilings and dark wooden floorboards, I knew it was the perfect venue for our day,” explains the bride, who wore a gorgeous Sally Eagle gown from Through The White Door .
Hoping to create a shabby chic day with a natural vibe, Bianca and Luke hired the super talented Jess Butcher of The Butcher, The Baker, The Stylist & Creator to take care of the decor – which she, of course, pulled of flawlessly! “Jess Butcher was amazing as always and did an exceptional job of styling and taking care of everything on the day, ensuring it all ran without a hitch.”
Despite quite a bit of DIY (Luke created that awesome copper arbour and the wishing well), the couple’s team of suppliers was never lacking having hired industry legends CJ Williams Photography, Micktric Events, Hire Society, Pretty Willow Prop Hire and Etsy shop Whispering Metalworks, who took care of those epic wedding favours – Bianca and Luke’s favourite detail from the day.
“Kelly from Whispering Metalworks did the most fantastic job. He made 120 spoons which were all hand stamped and unique with different shapes and intricate designs on the handles. I couldn’t have dreamed of a more fitting favour for our boho/vintage wedding.”
