These two sweet thangs have been together for over three years and are parents to fur child Addie. The gorge bride owns her very own darling floristry business, Thistle Flower Studio, which legend Stephen helps out with on weekends. Naturally, the florals for their own big day were out of this world. Sourcing blooms from local micro flower farms, the pair set about creating an autumnal wonderland of sunset toned goodness. Details were on point with the likes of Forever Soles and Meadowlark making an appearance throughout the day. THE VIBE “We were inspired by the venue itself and the surrounding region. It was important for us to embrace the natural beauty of the region and the changing season of autumn. As a florist, I thought it was important to source and showcase locally grown flowers from micro flower farms. The Estate Trentham is the perfect country property and we didn’t want to detract from that.”

DIY “Stephen and I styled and set up the wedding all on our own. I handled the flowers, designed the stationery and signage and styled the venue. Stephen hung all the festoons, barn installation and organised the bar.”

THE DRESSBluebell Bridal was the first place I went to and the dress was the third dress I tried on. It was nothing like I had pictured but I knew I loved it the second I tried it on. It felt like me. I loved the nude colour and floral lace. I went to one more bridal shop that day and realised I had already found my dress so I bought it the very next day. The service from everyone at Bluebell Bridal was exceptional. I couldn’t fault one thing.”

LITTLE LOL “At our ceremony I was so emotional. The feeling of immense love overwhelmed me. I began crying before I even started walking down the aisle and accidentally left my mum behind. When I started reading my vows, I forgot my own name and sobbed the whole way through reading them. Happy tears of course!”

WE’RE GLAD WE…”Although it was difficult to work out logistics, we are so glad we had our fur baby Addie with us at the ceremony. The day wouldn’t have been the same without her as she makes up our little family.”

STANDOUT VENDORGeorgia and her photos were incredible! Stephen and I aren’t photo people, but Georgia made us feel so comfortable and made us laugh. We were dreading the bridal portraits, but it ended up the most fun part of the day. Her photos really suited our Autumn theme and it really felt like she was just one of our guests.”
