We are so here for Felicity and Ray’s epic two-day-long nuptials, folks. Seriously – what a celebration! Day one celebrated both their cultures, the couple tell us, while day two saw them undertake a Western civil ceremony. “The first day entailed an Indian (Hindu) ceremony and a Korean Pyebaek ceremony followed by dinner and dancing, and the second day was a Western civil ceremony followed by the wedding reception,” says the bride.

As these photos by Maple and June show, this 48-hour love fest was truly something to behold, from the bride’s beautiful lehengas and the vibrant colours of the couple’s traditional Korean garb, right down to the groomsmen’s M.J. Bale suits and sweet stationery by our friends at Peppermint Press. Take a scroll for all the magic!

THE VIBE “‘Whimsical, romantic, secret fairy garden’ – trailing foliage, tumbling florals, candles and hints of gold.”

FAVE DETAILS “Waiting in the bridal suite alone whilst Ray arrived in a convertible Rolls-Royce accompanied by drummers on foot and surrounded by our family and friends who were dancing and cheering… I could hear the drumming and people’s voices as the car approached the venue and I was so overwhelmed with excitement and love that I started tearing up.”

LITTLE LOL “Instead of going back to our hotel room immediately after the wedding on the second day (our Western ceremony), we kicked on to karaoke with a group of about 40 cousins, siblings and close friends!”

WORD OF ADVICE “People will tell you not to stress about planning because ‘something will always go wrong’ and nothing ever goes 100% according to plan on your wedding day. Nothing went wrong on our wedding day because we had amazing wedding coordinators making sure everything went according to plan on both days! Even if you plan the whole wedding yourselves, like we did, having an on-the-day coordinator is invaluable and totally worth the investment.”
