For Hannah and Jeremy, or Han and Jez to their mates, getting hitched is all about “Life with my best friend but just with a certificate saying it’s forever”. Love that! These guys had been together for seven years before they said ‘I do’, following a winter proposal on a little getaway in Sassafrass. “Think freezing cold with an open fire place to get cosy in front of,” says Hannah.

Fast-forward a year and this pair made it official in front of 80 of their loved ones at Panama Dining Room in Melbourne’s Fitzroy. And we’ve got to say, they did a stellar job lining up a pretty epic team of vendors. With Maegan Brown Moments  on pics, celebrant Nat Sproal doing the legal bits oh-so beautifully, and Bloom Boy in charge of florals, this was one epic party.

Plus, shoutout to the bride and groom’s styling choices – with M.J. Bale for him and Temple of the Sun accessories for her, they couldn’t go wrong!

THE VENUE “We knew that the venue had to have some character as being winter there was no guarantee on weather to lift the energy/vibe. We are big foodies and love the restaurant culture in Melbourne, so it’s a surprise to no one that we picked a restaurant for our venue – we loved Panama Dining Room from the get-go!

THE INSPO “Knowing the venue is dark and grungy with pops of green, I loved the idea of introducing colour and fun through the flowers and outfits. My bridesmaids wore Gorman, which I love for their hectic prints and colours, and Ross at Bloom Boy really nailed the colourful whimsical vibe I was going for on the flowers.”

FAVE DEETS “Having our fur baby Louie (mini groodle) with us on the day was such a treat – and the photos are so fun with him in them. Ross at Bloom Boy did an incredible job on the flowers – they are always the first thing people comment on and looked so stunning not only in real life but in the photos. Espresso martinis to kick the dancefloor off was very us and well received, also.”

THE SUIT “The suit is from. M.J. Bale. Jez really wanted an excuse to wear a bow tie and black suit and we were super happy with how that tied together with the colourful flowers and dresses. Jez found the experience really positive and easy.”

REFERENCES “Our venue recommended a few different vendors to look into which helped in the initial search. I also used blogs like Hello May to get a sense and lots of googling! Nat Sproal our celebrant was recommended by our venue, and she was the first vendor we locked in. Bloody legend – so glad we did. Maegan Brown Moments our gorgeous photographer also came recommended via our venue, and I had sent an enquiry email to her. Coincidentally, the week later I attend my cousin’s wedding and she was their photographer. We got to share a drink with Maegs there and knew she was a good fit and raced to lock her in quickly after this.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “Our photographer Maegs was an absolute gem and made us feel so comfortable. She was truly a delight to spend the day with and is so talented – we will treasure our photos forever and ever! Our celebrant Nat was also a complete legend – she set the tone for the day and brought so much fun, silliness and joy to the day via her ceremony. We loved our catch-ups with her in the lead-up and found her advice so helpful.”

Hannah and Jeremy nabbed themselves a star lineup of vendors for their big day, folks, and we can’t recommend some of these fine people enough. Over on our directory, you’ll find the likes of Maegan Brown Moments, Nat Sproal Celebrant, M.J. Bale, Bloom Boy and Temple of The Sun – get in touch with them to help out on your big day and, trust us, you won’t be sorry.
